This spell causes a planetary body up to 10 miles in diameter to become invisible. As the planetary body blends into the existing starfield, only those native to the planetary body see it as it truly is.
Furthermore, the illusion effect all who come within the gravity well of the planetary body, causing them to believe they are still traveling at spell-jamming speed. Those affected by the illusion believe they are taking the most direct route thru 'wild space' where the planetary body is actually located, although they are actually taking a route around the planet.
There are drawbacks to this spell; it does not prevent the
Starfield from radiating intense magic, and those scry the seas for magic may be able to detect it, also anyone immune to phantasms will perceive that the ship is no longer traveling at spell-jamming speed.
This spell effects only perception of creatures that enter the gravity well or observing where in wild space where the planet is. As such a creature aboard a ship may spend 1 to 100 minutes within the
Starfield, for those in it only a fraction of a second has pass. Because of this drifting object that has no control of its direction will fall toward the planet if in gravity well. Spell duration still function in real time, those who have short duration spells cast up at the time may be surprised by the sudden lapse of their spells! Water clocks and hourglasses also show true time.
These true time effects may allow a creature a saving throw vs. spells, at DM's discretion. Any creature within six miles of planetary body is allowed a Will saving throw to disbelieve.
Gravity wells of size class A planetary body extends 32,000 feet (21 hexes with each hex equal to 500 yards across for 2nd edition Spelljamer). Class A planetary bodies are equal or less then 10 miles in diameter and have a atmosphere of one to three miles thick.
Arcane Material Component: A statue of a legendary thief or god of thieves' sculpted form the stone-like skin of a murderoid. The value of this statue should equal or exceed 100,000 gp. Naturally murderoid 'stone' is very rare and in itself is expensive.

Notes: I created this spell as I had a class A planet that I wanted hidden from the astrolabe and other such magic items.
