This spell creates an immobile, seven-foot hollow cylinder of scintillating light surrounds caster or any other creature he chooses within range. The cylinder's radius can be anywhere from one to seven feet, at the caster's option. Caster can dispel it at will.
Caster and other priest of his order are immune to effects of the cylinder, but any other living thing touched by the light suffers 3d4 points of damage, those making a fortitude saving throw suffer half damage. If creature fails its saving throw it cannot leave the confines of the Aurora. Those trying to enter the field must also make a fortitude saving throw to enter the area.
