The Urchin looks like its ocean-dwelling name sake, with 8 feet long spikes jutting out of the spherical hull of the ship. A single neogi sits in a separate spherical cage encased in the spiked hull, weighted so that the pilot remains upright regardless of how the ship moves or rolls. A common tactic is land on the deck of an enemy ship and roll over them with its sharpened spikes, this makes the neogi Urchin a great anti-personnel weapons.
A Neogi Deathspider can safely carry up to five urchin ships in its flight deck (while the deathspider can carry as many as ten urchin ships, it then become problematic that the urchin ships might get tangled up with one another).
Spikes (Ex): As a standard action during its turn each round, a Neogi Urchin can literally roll over opponents that are large size and smaller. This attack deals 4d10+8 points of piercing damage with its many spikes. A perforated opponet can attempt either an attack of opportunity at a –4 penalty or a reflex save (DC 21) for half damage. A successful saving throw indicates that the target has dodged between some of the spikes as the Neogi Urchin moves forward.
