Star Strider
“I wish I may, I wish I might, I wish upon a star tonight.”

Great multitudes of people gaze upon the stars. For the few that stride among the stars they are imbued with the energies of a multitude of constellations. The radiant energy of the stars magnifies the essence of the divine.
In the vastness of wildspace the star striders are found almost exclusively among divine spellcasters. Clerics make for the best star striders, but a possibility for multiclassing characters exists.
    Hit Dice: d6.

To qualify to become a star strider, a character must fulfill all the following criteria.
    Knowledge (Astronomy) 5 ranks
    Wildspace Lore 4 ranks
    Feat: Sacred Spell
    Special: Ability to turn undead

Class Skills
The star strider's class skills (and the key ability for each skill) are Concentration (Con), Craft (Int), Heal (Wis), Knowledge (Arcana, Int), Knowledge (Religion, Int), Knowledge (Astronomy, Int), Jump (Str), Use Rope (Dex), Profession (Wis), Scry (Int, exclusive skill), Spellcraft (Int), and Wildspace Lore (Wis).

Skill Points at Each Level: 2 + Int Modifier.

Class Features
All of the following are class features of the star strider prestige class.
Weapon and Armor Proficiency: Star striders are proficient with all simple weapons. They aren't proficient with any armor or with shields, but sometimes carry these proficiencies from a previous class.
Spells per Day: A star strider continues advancing in spellcasting ability as well as gaining the abilities of his new class. Thus, when a new star strider level is gained (except for 1st, 5th, and 9th), the character gains new spells per day as if he had also gained a level in whatever spellcasting class he belonged to before he added the prestige class. He does not, however, gain any other benefit a character of that class would have gained (wild shape, additional feats, and so on). This essentially means that he adds the level of star strider to the level of whatever other spellcasting class the character has, and then determines spells per day accordingly. For example, if Jacob, a 6th level cleric, gains two levels as a star strider (1st and 2nd level star strider), he gains new spells as if he had risen to 7th level as a cleric, but uses the other star strider aspects of level progression such as base attack bonus and save bonuses. If he next gains a level as a cleric, making him an 7th level cleric/2nd level star strider, he gains spells as if he had risen to 8th level as a cleric.
If a character had more then one spellcasting class before he became a star strider, the player must decide which class to assign each level of star strider for purpose of determining spells per day.
Prestige Domain (Ex): Upon adopting the star strider prestige class a character gains the prestige domain Wildspace, and at 6th level a character also gains access to the Stellar prestige domain. The character gains the granted powers associated with the domains, and can select spells in these domains as her daily domain spells.
Turn Undead (Su): When a character gains the prestige class star strider, he also gains the ability to turn undead.
Leap to the Stars (Ex): A star strider's height doesn't limit his jumping distance (horizontal or vertical).
Star Striding (Ex): Star striders with this ability can walk along a gravity plane without drifting away from the ship. Due to lack of solid surface the movement is half normal.
A star strider falling or jumping form a ship toward a gravity plane comes to rest on the plane with no oscillation through the plane. Any star strider falling prone remains such on the gravity plane till the star strider decides which side of the gravity plane is up.
The star strider is allowed to run and jump to other gravity planes at the half his regular movement rate. Due to the flexibility of the gravity planes, the star strider gains a +10 competence bonus to jump checks when used to leap onto other gravity planes. The star strider can also use the +10 competence bonus to jump from the gravity plane to the ship.
The star striding exceptional ability does not stack with boots of star striding.
Destiny of the Stars (Ex): At 4th level a star strider develops extraordinary good luck. Once per day, may reroll one roll that he just made. He must take the result of the reroll, even if it's worse than the original roll. If the star strider has levels of cleric with the luck domain, this benefit stacks with that domain's granted power.
Radiant Body (Ex): A star strider of 5th level is surrounded by a splendid aura of light that radiates from their body this effect also grants them an immune to all diseases, including magical diseases such as mummy rot and lycanthropy.
Celestial Body (Su): A star strider's, of 7th level, radiant aura intensifies granting them immunity to poisons of all kinds.
Crown of Stars (Su): At 8th level a star strider gains the crown of stars. This crown is composed of 10 small motes of light that orbit around the star strider's head. The star strider can as a standard action to direct a mote; a few motes or all the motes to accelerate at extreme speeds and have these motes strike unerringly its intended targets. The motes have a range of 800 feet and each mote of light heals 1d8-hit points of damage to living creatures, against undead each motes does 1d8-hit points of damage. The motes are replenished at a rate of one mote every 2 hours.
Eternal Body (Ex): A star strider of 9th level reaches full radiance no longer suffering ability penalties for aging and cannot be magically aged. (Penalties already suffered remain in place.) Bonuses still acquire, and when the star strider still dies of old age when his time is up.
Wish Upon A Star (Sp): Once per day, a star strider of 10th level can use wish (as per the spell).
