These fleets each serve a purpose; the Tenzar Fleet is responsible for defending their homeworld. Sonora Fleet protects the moon of Sonora. The Nimbus fleet patrols space around the Tears of Sequena, Dragon, and Nimbus (including launching covert missions on Nimbus). Emerald Fleet (the largest fleet) patrols the wildspace in and around Gold Coin and the 'Merchant' Asteroids. Deep Void Fleet monitors (as best it can) the goblinoid fleets that come and go from the Dark Horse Nebula. Finally the Reserve Fleet serves any place the High Council decides it should be (most often it helps escort leatherback (see below) cargo ships for the purpose of restocking the other fleets).
While these fleets are important, there are also significant defense fleets that help patrol the various moons that are part of the Ezhian Empire. These fleets will only be pulled from their assigned planet in dire emergencies. The cuttle command ship orbiting around Jehave functions more as a base then a ship as it has no spelljamming helm operating it. |
