Krajen
The krajen develop in three stages: small spaceborne spores, a barnacle like immature stage, and the huge adult krajen, the bane of the shipways. Krajen spores are harmless and can be slain by such spells as remove disease, they drift thru the void waiting for the approach of a ship or other solid body.

The adult krajen often grows much larger then most ships, and resembles a gargantuan aquatic squid. Its tube like body is dominated at one end by a thick central tentacle, the base of which is surrounded by a cluster of smaller tentacles.

Combat: These unholy terrors of the wildspace attack anything that comes within comfortable distance of them with a huge central tentacle and a cluster of twelve lesser tentacles.

Crush (Ex): The krajen's central tentacle can crush objects or creatures that it has successfully grabbed for 3d10 points of damage each round.

Immunity to Paralysis (Ex): Krajen are immune to all paralysis.

Improved Grab (Ex): To use this ability, the adult krajen must hit an opponent or ship of equal size to two sizes smaller than it self with its central tentacle. If it gets a hold, it can then crush the opponent/ship.

Paralysis (Ex): Those hit by the krajen's smaller tentacle attacks must succeed at a Fortitude save (DC 21) or be paralyzed for 1d8+12 rounds.

Immature krajens appear at first glance as giant barnacles, which are found moored to ships and asteroids.

Combat: In combat the immature krajen strikes with its one tentacle, which is nestled with its barnacle shell, that whips out of the top part of the shell.

Consume (Ex): Immature krajen are bane of shipping, for when it attaches itself to the hull of a ship, it then draws food and nutrients from the ship's surface at a fate of 10 hit points a month. It draw nutrient from only stone and wood and as such are often found on asteroids. Once a immature krajen has drawn 120 hit points form any number of surfaces it then disengages the surface it is attached to and then floats into space. It then completes it metamorphosis into an adult krajen.

Immunity to Paralysis (Ex): Immature krajen are immune to all paralysis.

Paralysis (Ex): Those hit by the immature krajen's tentacle attack must succeed at a Fortitude save (DC 11) or be paralyzed for 1d8+2 rounds.

In the Spheres
    The krajen grou thoughout their entire lives, such that legends tell of gargantuan krajen showing up from time to time. Because of the threat to ships in wildspace crews of ships will not only scapeoff immature krajen but will go out of thier way to kill them when found on asteroids and creatures such as the kindori.
