Nilaroo wordlessly boards the ship and within seconds mounts the rigging, inspecting the repair work. His impossibly long arms sustain his massive bulk as he swings effortlessly throughout the sail masts. The occasional coughing laugh can be heard as he finds a particularly fine piece of craftsmanship.

"Good luck to you." Lady Moune says as she shakes Ferric's hand goodbye, "And to the Company of the Silent Star as well." With that she and Standish disembark and are soon lost among the swirling chaos of the docks.

Holland waves goodbye to Lady Moune as she leaves and then says to the group, before Billy leaves, "Who is going to purchase the trading goods? Whomever has experience in haggling and trading would be a good choice," Holland looks at Italapate, "Would you be willing to take that duty?"

Italapate grins. "Of course, I would! Might even be fun. Uhmmmm.... what are we going to get to trade? Wine, food, air? Art? I can haggle and barter, but I wouldn't mind having some company for ideas on prospects. Oh, and I would assume Moune only supplied us with necessities and basics. If anyone has any personal tastes that need slaking, I could pick up some frills as well."

Holland smiles, "Wonderful, please get with Kain so you know how much monies we can spend on merchandise. I think that I might put up some of my own funds as well, Nilaroo mentioned that things such as building supplies and alcohol are always good trading items. We are going to Shipwrecker, so anything that you think or have heard of that is needed there would be ideal," Looking over at Billy Holland adds, "Perhaps Billy's 'friends' can help with some ideas or even have some cargo that they wished shipped."

As Holland speaks Ferric casually strolls over to Jamila's side. Smiling pleasantly he speaks to her quietly enough so that only she and those standing next to her can hear him as Holland receives his answer. "So I take it that this Holland fellow is your captain?"

"Hmm? Holland the captain?" Jamila replies while glancing upwards at Ferric, "Not that I know of, representative Ferric, but then again I have not as of yet sailed with the Company." Glancing back towards Holland with a thoughtful look on her face, she continues "I think you'd call him the chief helmsman?" With a questioning expression she asks Leera "I did get that right? Awya?"

Ferric looks at those listening to his conversation with Jamila and speaks in a normal tone of voice so that all can hear easily, "Please, let's have none of this representative business. While I do work for Lady Moune I am only here to make sure that endeavors undertaken by this group will not be detrimental to the House's good fortune. In fact, as the Lady mentioned I would like to work as a part of this group if I may. I'm a fair hand at the rapier and my bowmanship is not too terrible either. If it comes to a fight I would much rather be on the deck as Ferric your companion than in my quarters as Ferric the representative of House Moune. I can guide this ship through wildspace or the phlogiston if you have need of such skills.

With a wink to Italapate, and a large grin on her face, Jamila says "As you request representative Ferric. So, is your bow as tall as you are?" she asks while arcing her left eyebrow.

Leera nods quickly at Holland and asks, "I take it then that you are a spellcaster of some type, Ferrick?"

Holland glances over, at Ferric and Leera, a calculating look on his face.

"Perhaps I misspoke myself. I am not a spellcaster and can not fly a ship personally. I am a tolerable navigator though and can direct a helmsman on the heading to take and plot the course if the proper maps are available. While I have navigated and captained ships before it has only been between Bral and the farming asteroids and each time with someone like the good Post-Captain to take charge if anything went awry. I am proud to say that this has never been necessary and I have never allowed a ship to come to harm while under my command." Ferric smiles proudly at this for a moment.

Leera speaks very courteously, "In that case, we are pleased to be able to take advantage of your skills. As for command, or your earlier question about our captain... we have none. We are all here equals, and make decisions as a group."

Ferric nods his head, "That is fine. This will be my first trip 'on my own' as it were and I would like to be involved in the things the company does. This assignment was my choice after hearing the reports on you lot. As chaotic as this group sounds I think I could learn much with you as we see the sights of this sphere and perhaps others."

Leera laughs, "Oh, no! You must have heard tales of some other group. We are none of us here very chaotic, are we 'Pate?"

Holland lets out a polite chuckle.

Holland then says, "We should finish up any personal business, purchase some goods, and cast off in the morning. Does that sound agreeable with everyone? I am going to run a few errands and then I will spend the rest of the time aboard ship. Would it be possible for someone to remain with the ship until I get back?"

Grigree grunts in reply and bobs his head up and down. "I'll stay. Get her ready."

"I'll keep you company Grigree. Need to know about this type of ship, as I've never seen her type before" Jamila adds while studying the lines of the ship. "She doesn't look as if she'd survive a storm at sea, that for sure."

"When you see her in space," Grigree says, turning his torso to look longingly at the ship, "hrr, you not mind. She survives well in sea of the void."

"Hoom, I would be glad to show you the layout of this ship and the rigging, Jamila. It will be important for all of us to be confidant in moving this ship in combat. Tell me, do you climb well?" Nilaroo hoots, stretching his arms as they talk.

"That would be grand, Nilaroo. It wouldn't do to be unaware of what she'll do in a fight" says Jamila, adding with a laugh "While my arms are not as great as yours, I have worked the riggings before."

Holland asks Ferric, "As the Moune representative, I guess I can ask you. What is the status of the pirates that we captured on our previous outing with Captain Wilhemina? I would like to find out the location of the port Barre Sinister, I am sure that the captured pirates would be able to give a pretty good description on how to get there. Could you please look into finding that information out for us today?"

"The pirates have been turned over to the authorities and are either working hard labor on the underside of Bral or have been jettisoned. Either way we won't be speaking to them in this life. I have heard of Barre Sinister before and I know that it is on an asteroid within this sphere but its location is a well guarded secret. If it wasn't the forces of Bral would have put an end to it long ago." Ferric scans the dock area with his eyes, "When shall we be leaving? I know we must wait on the halfling to return but is there any other business that anyone has before we go?"

Holland frowns and then says, "We will be leaving on the morrow."

"Comrade Kain," Deigatt says, "perhaps hit would be a good idea to tell Lord Hetriss that you hand Comrade Billy will not be hon Bral has long has you had horiginally planned. Hif we cast hoff without notifying him, then he his likely to doubt the sincerity hof your hurlier request."

Billy rubs his chin in thought. "Hmmm... That's a good idea Deigatt... I was hoping to lay low after our recent adventures, but a quick nip over to Estriss shouldn't hurt. Do you want to come along?"

Deigatt says, "I do, hand we might hinvite Comrade Raken has well, hunless he has hother business."

"Yes, I.. ah.. suppose that would be a good idea. I was thinking about making a visit to the Library, but I didn't want to go alone," Kain smiles. "Raken.. ah.. would you care to come along? And Billy, do you want to go get your things first?"

"Huh, oh sure," Raken says, his gaze returning to the crew of the Silent Star and away from the spelljammers he was watching. "Why not. One last chance to stretch the legs before a long space voyage." He secures his sword and prepares to leave the Silent Star with Deigatt, Kain, and anyone else making the trip to see the illithid.

Billy turns to Deigatt, Kain, and Raken, "OK. Let's go! Let's just stop by where I was staying so that I can pick up my stuff."

Italapate waits for Deigatt, Billy and Kain to decide what to do about Hestriss. Then, "I have been nominated to purchase some goods for trading, Kain. What kind of money are we looking at here?"

"Well.. ah.. I've tried to work it out, and it looks to be about twenty-six gold per share. But as for the.. ah.. total you'll have to work with, that depends on how generous I feel," Kain smiles. "I've some money of my own I can add, I won't.. err.. be spending it anytime soon. Hmm..well, now seems to be a good time to talk about money, but can we go belowdecks?" Kain asks, speaking to everyone present. "I've been trying to figure out the easiest way to proceed with the..ah..acutal distribution of our monies, and am.. ah.. hoping that what I'm going to say will make sense." Kain smiles and shrugs as he looks for agreement before heading on board the _Star_.

Settling in the bridge, Kain says, "Here's what we have, a total value of about three hundred forty-two gold. Now if we divide this up evenly, it works out to be thirteen shares. The ship and the twelve who were a part of the job. So, it'll be twenty six gold and three silver a share." Kain pauses to make sure he's on the right track. But," Kain clears his throat, "Radick wished to place what's needed of his share against the healing that Grigree paid for, and fifteen gold of Radick's share should go to Holland..ah..so he is reimbursed for the three platinum coins he gave to Radick, right?"

Kain waits again, to see if he's misinterpreted anything. After a suitable pause, he says, "So if I have my figures correct, Grigree will receive thirty-seven gold, six silver. Holland, I think you're to get forty-one and three. Everyone else, including a share for the _Star_, will be paid twenty six gold coins and three silver. That'll also leave us with some coins left unaccounted for...three silver pieces and eight copper pieces" Kain says as he scratches his ear. "I could always stop at the exchequer on the way back from the library to break up the silver to copper?" he asks.

"Grr, why not leave change for the ship?" Grigree asks. "Use money for healing. Way you fight, we need it," he continues, showing his teeth. "Money changers are, grr, jetatin' thieves anyway." He reaches up and scratches his orange stomach while waiting for a response.

"Hmm.. well, no, I guess I haven't been exceptionally lucky lately have I," Kain coughs as he plays with a small pile of coins. "But.. ah.. that is, it sounds good to me to add the extra to the ship's reserve."

"Hany share hallotted to me should be given to the ship's fund," Deigatt says.

Holland adds, "Kain, we have around what? 340gps total?"

"Correct," Kain says with a nod.

After Kain's clarification, Holland asks the group, "Why don't we take 150gps straight out of that to begin the Company fund. The remainder will be split up into shares for everyone of about 14gps each. That would give Italapate 150gps, as well as monies from individuals, to purchase trading goods." Holland looks to the group, "Does this sound good to everyone?"

Grigree bobs his head up and down in agreement. "I'd rather invest in the ship. Got own money too. What we going to do with it?"

Kain nods again. "For..ah..clarity, you intended the 150 gold to be the ships share of the money, right Holland? Also, shouldn't we keep something in reserve? Won't we need to pay docking fees and all the other taxes once we reach Shipwrecker also?"

Holland grins and says, "The Company will still get its 14 gold share, that should cover all of the docking, air and tax fees for Shipwrecker."

Holland produces two pouches and empties one pouch into the other and presents it to Italapate, "Here is an additional 50pp of my personal funds for the purchasing of trade goods," to Kain Holland directs, "Kain, please note this."

"Add this and share too," Grigree says as he pulls off a pouch from around his neck. "No need for gold," he raises the hand holding the small bag, "onboard the ship." He hands the pouch containing 18gp to Italapate.

"Aywa Kain" says Jamila. "You can add my share towards buying any goods for trade. I don't think I'll be needing it onboard, aywa?"

Nilaroo looks up at Kain. "Please invest my share in the trade goods, as well. In addition, here are 30 gold for with which to purchase, also," he rumbles.

As everyone hands back their share of the stash for purchasing supplies, Billy throws in his as well.

Holland smiles at Kain, "Keep good records.. I imagine your job is going to be more than you thought it would be"

"Damn right," Kain tries to frown, but can't. "Well..I might as well get started," Kain smiles weakly as he begins making notations on a piece of paper.

Holland says with a smile, "I don't envy you, but again, thank you for taking on this responsibility."

"Has anyone planned on going to see the harbormaster.. err.. I mean the Master of the Docks?" Kain asks. "If not.. we could stop on our trip to the Library of the Spheres."

Holland says, "Yes, I was going to take care of it."

Holland smiles as Kain gives Italapate the funds, "You should be able to purchase a hefty amount of goods with that much gold," Holland's smile changes to a slight frown as he says, "Perhaps you should not be travelling alone. It wouldn't do for you to be jumped while carrying all of that.."

Holland looks to the group as says, "Would anyone care to accompany Italapate on his purchase run? Deigatt?"

"I have hagreed halready to haccompany Comrades Kain hand Billy to their meet with Lord Hetriss," Deigatt replies. "But I hagree hit his dangerous for Comrade Hitalapate to be carrying such a large amount without han hescort. Perhaps Jamila could delay hinspecting the ship hand hact has guard?"

Ferric cracks his knuckles and shakes his hands to loosen his fingers, "If the good shipwright can see to my chest here I can accompany you. I know a few things about trade goods and prices so I may even be able to lend you some small assistance in procuring what you wish to bring along as trade stock."

"Well," Italapate says, "As Coyote said to the Great Rabbit Spirit... 'The More the Merrier'! Come along."

As the rest of the group heads off on their various errands, Leera announces, "I'm going to study my spells. come and get me if you need me."

Once everyone has their money, Kain begins making the rounds of the eelship. After checking the copies he'd made of the chart of the inner flow and the chart of Bralspace against the originals, Kain rolls his copies up and slides them back into their case. Leaving the bridge, he spends the rest of the time before the library visit poking around the ship.

As everybody departs for their last taste of solid ground underfoot, Grigree heads back up on deck. Grigree examines the repairs on the rigging and starts getting the ship ready for sailing.

As the group breaks up, Talus casts a nervous eye towards the city, "I think I shall stay here with ship. Seeing as I did not attend that meeting last night, the guild may have decided I need some instruction in manners." The half-elf grins, "I think I should stay out from under their sight for a while."
