Adelard: An old priest of Celestian. He gave the COSS some information concerning the location of the Blackjammer Cutlass and told them of an old Thri-kreen poem that might hold more information. He first appears in Chapter 6, Turn 6 [15th day of the 7th month, 5049 OC].

ALBAITHORQUDUUMP: Scro Mantis. One of the ships are the Barre Sinister. It appears in Chapter 4, Turn 4 [22nd day of the 6th month, 5049 OC].

Amroth, Elrohir: Captain of HANALI'S SWORD, this elven is a known member of the Seekers and is famous for his daring thefts of artwork. He is mentioned by Talus in Chapter 3, Turn 5 [13th day of the 5th Month, 5049 OC]. A handsome elf with a reputation for romancing females. The COSS met him on Ironpiece and paid for passage to Bral. Once underway he told the COSS his real destination was Barre Sinister. He shows up on Bral, his ship damaged, with the COSS's cargo and Vais. He takes Leera out for a date and warns the COSS of an impeding attack, he also helps get information for the COSS concerning Holland's abduction. He first appears in Chapter 3, Turn 37 [15th day of the 6th month, 5049 OC], then subsequently on Bral in Chapter 4, Turn 18 [26th day of the 6th month, 5049 OC] and is last seen in Chapter 5, Turn 4 [4th day of the 7th month, 5049 OC].

Andru, Prince: Leader of Bral. Announced that the Talangran Empire and Bral were opening diplomatic and trade relations. He later announced that a small asteroid in Bral's wake would be given to the Shou for them to build an outpost and staging area. He was mentioned in Crystal Ball 7th month of 5049.

ANLLIMA: Sindiath Line swanship which hasn't arrived on schedule. Believed to be the ship reported fighting a Scro mantis by REORX'S BEARD. It was mentioned in Crystal Ball 6th month 5049 OC.

Antigone: A human female, priestess of Athena. She is one of the healers examining the magical hand for Holland. She first appears in Chapter 6, Turn 8 [16th day of the 7th month, 5049 OC].

Ariassa: One of the serving maids at the Broken Tankard, she is a pretty human woman approaching 30. She is first mentioned in Chapter 1, Turn 17 [16th day of the 4th Month, 5049 OC].

Arirellan: The serving wench from the Twisted Thumb. She attempted to kick Leera's disguised form from the tavern in Chapter 1, Turn 21-23, Group 1 [17th day of the 4th Month, 5049]. She is a human female who looks like she has a bug or two she'll pass on.

Ashram: Jamila's spiritual leader. He uttered the quest that she was on when she encountered the COSS. Chapter 1, Turn 19 [16th day of the 4th Month, 5049 OC].

Asterwen: A streetwalker. Her hair is black as midnight and eyes like Toril from a million miles out. She's aged better than fine wine. She usually walks down by Clipper Street, where it opens into the Market. She wears high boots, a green blouse and a green short skirt. She is a point of contact for those wishing to reach the Red Masks. Talus found this information in Chapter 1, Turn 21-23, Group 4 [17th day of the 4th Month, 5049 OC].

Atr: A halfling mindbender, member of Milken's crew, and was slain by Billy during the assault on Iceberg. He was slain in Chapter 5, Turn 47 [11th day of the 7th month, 5049 OC].

Baleric: An armourer that Nilaroo did business with in Chapter 3, Turn 9 [30th day of the 5th Month 5049 OC].

Barrachus: A human priest of Zeus on Bral. He is Allagan's mentor and foster father. He introduced Holland Antigone concerning the magical hand and did an augury for Allagan. He first appears in Chapter 5, Turn 1 [4th day of the 7th month, 5049 OC] and subsequently in Chapter 6, Turn 9 [16th day of the 7th month, 5049 OC].

Bardilac: The halfling owner and operator of the White Galleon inn. The COSS was introduced to him Chapter 2, Turn 3 [19th day of the 4th Month, 5049 OC].

Belvor IV: King of Furyondy in Grayspace. He and the Canon of Veluna declared a "Great Northern Crusade" against the forces of Iuz the Evil. He is mentioned in Crystal Ball 3rd month 5049 OC.

Bingly, Mortimer: Billy Two-Thumbs' adoptive human father. He is captain of the galleon TRILOSHANE. Captain Bingly is mentioned in Chapter 1, Turn 1 [1st day of the 4th Month, 5049 OC].

Blinggood: A gnome illusionist and HANALI'S SWORD's first mate. He created a magical spell that allows a jammer to become invisible. He first appears in Chapter 3, Turn 38 [16th day of the 6th month, 5049 OC].

BLUE SKY WANDERER: It was on this ship that Jamila arrived on the Rock, or so she claimed in Chapter 1, Turn 19 [16th day of the 4th Month, 5049 OC].

Bosil: A dwarf and Red Mask thief. He is the target of the COSS's. He is captured and then talks the COSS into taking him into Bral to look for some treasure and then promptly escapes. He first appears in Chapter 5, Turn 14 [5th day of the 7th month, 5049 OC].

Brigor: A name invoked by Holland in Chapter 1, Turn 14 [15th day of the 4th Month, 5049 OC].

BROWNSNAKE: Eelship running from Shipwrecker to Bral, failed to arrive on Bral. It was mentioned in Crystal Ball 3rd month 5049 OC. The COSS later learns that Dhebun had been aboard the BROWNSNAKE when it was overran by pirates, and has since probably been renamed. This was learned in Chapter 4, Turn 12 [28th day of the 6th month, 5049 OC].

Cain: A human, Captain of the pirate ship RAMPAGE. The COSS sees him on Barre Sinister for the Pirate/Scro/Tauran conference. The COSS saw him again when he shows up at the Laughing Beholder Tavern. He first appears in Chapter 4, Turn 2 [22nd day of the 6th month, 5049 OC] and subsequently appears in Chapter 6, Turn 7 [15th day of the 7th month, 5049 OC].

Celestra Silverfist: Leader of the War-Drake privateering fleet. He was seen entering the Elven Forest with Valkan. She is mentioned in Crystal Ball 4th month of 5049 OC.

Cozar, Aric: Son of Prince Fun. He commissioned the creation of the Chalice of Storms for Bral's Founding Day festivities. The Chalice went missing and pirates were suspected. He was mentioned in Crystal Ball 4th month of 5049 OC. Offered a reward for the return of the Chalice of Storms. Holland mentioned him in Chapter 1, Turn 18 [16th day of the 4th Month, 5049 OC]. He was met in person by the COSS when they returned the Chalice of Storms in Chapter 3, Turn 4 and 5 [12th day of the 5th Month, 5049 OC].

Cudak: A half-orc male, he is the Bosun of the FLOWFISH, introduced in Chapter 1, Turn 1 [1st day of the 4th Month, 5049 OC]. He appears also in Chapter 1, Turn 8. He was one of the sailors who helped guard the NIGHTWIND when FERRIC went to his duel with Dougal. He appears in Chapter 4, Turn 17 [29th day of the 6th month, 5049 OC].

Cutter: The owner and operator of Cutter's Corner on Wrighters. He is a merchant known by Seguld. He came to Wrighters as part of a merchant team and he decided to stay because he thought he would become filthy rich. He drinks quite a bit and is quite filthy. He is mentioned in Chapter 2, Turn 6 [30th day of the 4th Month, 5049 OC].

D

Dalla: A gnome female, she owns a wasp on Ironpiece. Seguld looked at the wasp as a possible purchase for the COSS. She also is a creator of various gnomish weaponry that excited Seguld. She appears in Chapter 3, Turn 34 [15th day of the 6th month, 5049 OC].

DAMA ROSA: Frigate from Talangran Empire. It arrived on Bral allegedly to open an embassy and trade station on Bral. It is mentioned in Crystal Ball 6th month of 5049 OC.

D'Ambleve, Reynard: Captain of the Shipwrecker Fellow pirate ship GREY WOLF. This information learned from Oquid in Chapter 5, Turn 40 [11th day of the 7th month, 5049 OC].

Dani'hect: A warrior of Tyr and acquaintance of Deigatt. He first appears in Chapter 5, Turn 10 [5th day of the 7th month, 5049 OC].

Deepdelve, Worden: A male dwarf, he is the clan chief of the Deepdelve clan, who conduct mining operations in God's Marbles. He is mentioned in Crystal Ball 2nd month 5049 OC.

Denious: A priest of Hermes, who is a childhood friend of Allagan. He is first mentioned in Chapter 5, Turn 10 [5th day of the 7th month, 5049 OC].

DeVries, Nolan: He operates Gaspar's Reclamation during Gaspar's absences. Radick warns to keep on his good side, give him a profit and he's a good enough guy, but his temper resembles his stature - short and explosive. Nolan is mentioned in Chapter 1, Turn 18 [16th day of the 4th Month, 5049 OC].

DEZTAGRAT: Scro mantis, arrived on Bral to conduct negotiations. It is mentioned in Crystal Ball 7th month of 5049 OC.

Dinistkin, Dargas: A great minotaur, broad of shoulder and strong. He was a character of a story told by Deigatt to the COSS in Chapter 2, Turn 4 [28th day of the 4th Month, 5049 OC]. He was Deigatt's commander.

Diadan Cartan: A human, he is the head of the "noble" merchant house Cartan. He doesn't like Moune. He flirted with Leera in the baths and accompanied her to dinner and then Ferric/Dougal's duel. He has sent several missives to Leera since then. He first appears in Chapter 4, Turn 19 [29th day of the 6th month, 5049 OC].

Dirck of Wildspace: A Human, owns a tradesman with gnomish weaponry on Ironpiece. Seguld looked at the tradesman as a possible purchase for the COSS. He appears in Chapter 3, Turn 34 [15th day of the 6th month, 5049 OC].

Doin Fireaxe: Captain of the VERGEDAIN'S HAMMER. He is mentioned in Crystal Ball 4th month 5049 OC.

Don Mediggo: He is the Talangran ambassador to Bral. His embassy is located on Park Street. He was mentioned in Crystal Ball 7th month of 5049 OC.

Dorn of Toril: The champion of the Olympic Games' spellcasting competition. He is mentioned in Chapter 3, Turn 6 [13th day of the 5th Month, 5049 OC].

Dougal: A human bravo of the House Catan. He doesn't like Ferric. He insulted Ferric and was called to challenge. He lost the duel and plots some sort of revenge with Italapate. He first appears in Chapter 4, Turn 15 [29th day of the 6th month, 5049 OC].

Dred: An illusionist leader and titular head of the Shipwrecker Fellows. He acts as their fence. He is mentioned by Periander in Chapter 2, Turn 13 [1st day of the 5th Month, 5049 OC]. The COSS saw him on Barre Sinister for the Pirate/Scro/Tauran conference. He appears in Chapter 4, Turn 2 [22nd day of the 4th month, 5049 OC].

E

Estriss: He is a member of the Seekers and is conducting research at the Seeker's Library of the Spheres (#16). Estriss is said to be different from other illithids. He sails on non-illithid vessels by preference and is the only illithids member of the Seekers on Bral. Billy and Kain think that he may be a potential teacher. Estriss is mentioned in Chapter 1, Turn 18 [16th day of the 4th Month, 5049 OC].

Etedrilin: The innkeeper of the Broken Tankard. He is a human male, looking to be in his fifties, very short, black hair and wearing a white apron over brown trousers. The COSS first met him in Chapter 1, Turn 15 [15th day of the 4th Month 5049 OC].

F

Firavel: A tall redhead elf on Spiral, he received the elvish cargo that the COSS smuggled to Spiral for the freedom fighters. He appears in Chapter 3, Turn 20 [12th day of the 6th month, 504 OC].

Fireaxe, Doin: Captain of VERGEDAINS HAMMER. He is mentioned by Talus in Chapter 3, Turn 5 [13th day of the 5th Month, 5049 OC].

FLOWFISH: A Tradesman captained by Post-Captain Wilhemina. It was on this Tradesman that the Company first worked together on. The FLOWFISH typically stays in-sphere, making the regular runs to the House Moune farming asteroids. Occasionally it is used for an out-of-sphere run. [Chapter 1, Turn 1; 1st day of the 4th Month, 5049 OC].

FLOWGHOST: The last spelljammer, a small galleon, that Periander worked on upon which he was badly treated. It was a pirate ship captained by Ocaba. It is mentioned by Talus in Chapter 2, Turn 12 [1st day of the 5th Month, 5049 OC]. She was captured by the COSS in Chapter 2, Turn 25 [2nd day of the 5th Month, 5049 OC] and subsequently sold to the "noble" merchant house of Eirenfezt. The COSS see it again with the Eirenfezt banner in Chapter 4, Turn 13 [29th day of the 6th month, 5049 OC].

FREEBOOTER: A system dragonfly that carries light cargoes between the Grainfields and Bral. It has not returned from its last voyage. It is mentioned by Talus in Chapter 3, Turn 5 [13th day of the 5th Month, 5049 OC] and in the Crystal Ball of the 5th month 5049 OC.

Froa: A human priest of Ares and member of the Shipwrecker Fellows. He was on board the FLOWGHOST and dressed in brown robes. Mentioned in Chapter 2, Turn 26 [2nd day of the 5th Month, 5049 OC]. He works for Dred, the head of the Shipwreckers Fellows, and heals Holland after his amputation. He is finally killed during a parley, the attack initiated by Seguld. He first appears in Chapter 5, Turn 16 [? day of 7th month, 5049 OC] and is subsequently killed in Chapter 5, Turn 38 [10th day of the 7th month, 5049 OC].

Frun, Prince: He is being cuckolded by an actor, or so it is rumoured. Prince Frun is mentioned by Leera in Chapter 1, Turn 18 [16th day of the 4th Month, 5049 OC].

Gamalon: A human mage, owner of Gamalon's Curios. Holland tried to buy magic items from him but Gamalon sends him away and tells him not to come back for six months (ouch). He first appears in Chapter 6, Turn 11 [19th day of the 7th month, 5049 OC].

Gantius: A halfling murderer wanted by the Halflings' guild for a bounty of 100gp dead, 300gp alive. Gantius can usually be found at a dive called the Twisted Thumb. He is a member of the Red Masks Billy mentions Gantius in Chapter 1, Turn 20 [17th day of the 4th Month, 5049 OC]. The COSS meets up with him at the Twisted Thumb in Chapter 1, Turn 21-23, Group 1 [17th day of the 4th Month, 5049 OC]. He is an old, scarred half-orc. His hair is grey and sparse, showing the scar from a sword cut to his head. Gantius was captured by the COSS in Chapter 1, Turn 29 [17th day of the 4th Month, 5049 OC] and handed to the Halflings' Guild in Chapter 1, Turn 30 [17th day of the 4th Month, 5049 OC].

Garth: A possibly fictional friend of Leera's. She described this large human as she was recounting a story about an adventure she had when she was slogging in sewers in order to get out of latrine duty. Garth is mentioned in Chapter 1, Turn 1 [4th day of the 4th Month, 5049 OC].

Gaspar: Owner and operator of Gaspar's Reclamations. He is first mentioned in Chapter 1, Turn 18 [16th day of the 4th Month, 5049 OC].

Ginsese: A half-orcess priestess of Ralishaz, she is one of Herminard's helmsmen. She participated in Holland's kidnapping and also played cards at the Laughing Beholder Tavern. She first appears in Chapter 6, Turn 7 [15th day of the 7th month, 5049 OC].

GOLDEN ORB: Tradesman from Bral, last seen entering Shipwrecker's atmosphere but never made it to Wrighters. It was mentioned in Crystal Ball 7th month of 5049 OC. Gundishiburguulgoth: "Lord of Stone in Shadow", An Iron dragon. He was seen in God's Marbles, he doesn't like pirates or illithids. He is mentioned in Crystal Ball 1st month 5049 OC.

Granitebite, Gundar: A friendly dwarven merchant from Wrighters. Encountered by the COSS in Chapter 2, Turn 6 [30th day of the 4th Month, 5049 OC].

Greenfield, Mrs.: A halfing female, lives in the Halfling Quarter on Bral and is a friend of Billy. She first appears in Chapter 6, Turn 10 [16th day of the 7th month, 5049 OC].

GREYWOLF: Shipwrecker pirate ship, captained by Reynard D'Ambleve. This information was told to the COSS by Oquid in Chapter 5, Turn 41 [10th day of the 7th month, 5049 OC].

Grype: He is the chapter house manager of Wrighters' Mages' Guild. He dresses simply in mage's robes. Encountered by the COSS in Chapter 2, Turn 6 [30th day of the 4th Month, 5049 OC].

Gwardolith: A young human, who is also a Red Mask that escaped the COSS during Bosil's capture. He lives in Muave Mansion boarding house in Middle City and serves as a liaison between the Red Masks and the Red Mask High Council. He first appears in Chapter 5, Turn 14 [5th day of the 7th month, 5049 OC].

HANALI'S SWORD: Arrived from Toril. It is mentioned by Talus in Chapter 3, Turn 5 [13th day of the 5th Month, 5049 OC]. Captain is the Elf Elrohir Amroth. It was mentioned in Crystal Ball 5th 5049 OC and the COSS rode as passengers on it in Chapter 3, Turn 36 [15th day of the 6th month, 5049 OC].

Hastain: Reigar on Bral. He is mentioned in Crystal Ball 4th month of 5049 OC.

Herkamir: He flew for a minotaur captain who did occasional work for House Moune. He developed the Spudnik ship that patrols this Ironpiece. He is mentioned by Ferric in Chapter 3, Turn 33 [14th day of the 6th Month, 5049 OC].

Herminard "the Eloquent": A human assassin/mage, he is the Captain of the REBUTTAL. He is first mentioned by Talus in Chapter 2, Turn 12 [1st day of the 5th Month, 5049 OC]. The COSS saw him on Barre Sinister for the Pirate/Scro/Tauran conference. He later is hired by Milken to kidnap Holland. He is last seen in the Laughing Beholder Tavern where Holland wins a magic item back in a game of cards and Ferric pays Herminard to keep an ear open as to who was behind Ferric's assassination attempt. Iacot: He is a captain of House Eirenfezt. He is a tall, strong looking man with long, flowing golden hair and light blue eyes approaches. Dressed in the traditional grey of a Bral native. The COSS encountered him in Chapter 3, Turn 5 [12th day of the 5th Month, 5049 OC].

Ilswyn of the Isles: A beautiful elven lady in white and gold, she has very pale blond hair, and a sense of ethereal beauty emanates from her. She was introduced to the COSS by Valiss in Chapter 3, Turn 9 [30th day of the 5th Month, 5049 OC]. She hired the COSS to make a weapons run to elven warriors on Spiral. She is the COSS's contact with the Elvish Fleet. She pumped Deigatt for information concerning the Tauran's presence at Barre Sinister. She first appears in Chapter 4, Turn 15 [29th day of the 6th month, 5049 OC] and in the Crystal Ball of the 5th month 5049 OC.

INEVITABLE: A gnomish sidewheeler out of Ironpiece. It arrived on Bral badly damaged after barely surviving a battle with what are assumed to be pirates. It is mentioned by Talus in Chapter 3, Turn 5 [13th day of the 5th Month, 5049 OC].

Jebediah: Quartermaster at Shipwrights' Guild. Nilaroo arranged, through Jedebiah, the shipment of COSS consignment lumber to the NIGHTWIND to make repairs from the Iceberg raid. He first appears in Chapter 6, Turn 6 [15th day of the 7th month, 5049 OC].

Jergree: A hadozee crewmember of the SORO'NUME. Encountered in Chapter 3, Turn 17 [7th day of the 6th Month, 5049 OC].

Jilpan: A name invoked by Holland in Chapter 1, Turn 14 [15th day of the 4th Month, 5049 OC].

Jored a.k.a. "Jay": Billy's contact and mentor from the Halflings' Guild of Bral. He is first mentioned in Chapter 1, Turn 16 [16th day of the 4th Month, 5049 OC]. The halfling looks very nondescript with close-cropped brown hair and is wearing the plain brown tunic and trousers of a native Bralian workman with no visible weapons. He hired the COSS to disrupt a meeting between the Red Mask Bosil and a renagade halfling clan. He later gives Billy grief about not reporting Bosil's escape. He first appears in Chapter 5, Turn 8 [5th day of the 7th month, 5049 OC] and subsequently appears in Chapter 6, Turn 10 [16th day of the 7th month, 5049 OC].

Juggler: Thieves' Guild leader, reportedly stole the necklace from the wife of the Yendoril Ambassador, setting back the Bral/Yendoril negotiations. She is mentioned in Crystal Ball 2nd month of 5049 OC.

K

Kal: The operator of Picks and Pans on Wrighters. He is a rather thin man. He is quite nasty to those who wake him from his sleep, especially when he's leaning back on his chair. He is encountered by the COSS in Chapter 2, Turn 6 [30th day of the 4th Month, 5049 OC].

Keg: An older human, he is a crewman on the HANALI'S SWORD who talks with Deigatt about Tomi Tomoshi. He appears in Chapter 4, Turn 2 [21st day of the 6th month, 5049 OC].

Kelacan: The bosun's mate on the FLOW GHOST. He was captured by the COSS in Chapter 2, Turn 25 [2nd day of the 5th Month, 5049 OC].

Kleobis: The half-orc captain of the WHIRLWIND that attempted to ambush the FLOWFISH. He was killed in battle in Chapter 1, Turn 8 [7th day of the 4th Month, 5049 OC]

Koanidd: A human priest that healed Radick in the battle in the Twisted Thumb in Chapter 1, Turn 21-23, Group 1 [17th day of the 4th Month, 5049 OC]. He is a human male in late middle age, tall and thin with long brown wavey hair and green-brown eyes. He wears a brown cloak over a suit of ringmail and a mace hangs at his side.

Krisp, Phil: A young member of the Gallents encountered in Chapter 2, Turn 26 [2nd day of the 5th Month, 5049 OC]. He describes himself as an aspiring actor out of Greyspace. Armed only with a few daggers, Phil is obviously a competent sailor and exudes the sort of street savvy that can only come from growing up on the streets. He likes to recite lines from plays no one. His style is a bit overly dramatic but occasionally a real glimpse of acting talent appears.

Kullek, Treville: A human, Lieutenant in the Bral Navy. He took custody of the captured Shipwrecker pirates from the Iceberg raid. He was very curt and not very pleasant, very serious demeanor. He first appears in Chapter 6, Turn 5 [15th day of the 7th month, 5049 OC].

Ladek, Drustan: An albino male, he is one of the HANALI'S SWORD's helmsmen. He first appears in Chapter 3, Turn 38 [16th day of the 6th month, 5049 OC].

Laocoon: Captain of the TEMPEST. The COSS first encountered him on an ambush with the WHIRLWIND which was subsequently captured in Chapter 1, Turn 8 [7th day of the 4th Month, 5049 OC]. The Company discovered his identity in Chapter 1, Turn 13 [7th day of the 4th Month, 5049 OC]. Post-Captain Wilhemina describes him as an older human male with an unkempt white beard and one milky white eye, the other eye being a brilliant blue. He often frequents the less reputable ports of this Spiralspace; the Barre Sinister for one. He is a member of the Shipwrecker's Fellows, a loose pirate brotherhood with a secret base somewhere on Shipwrecker. The Captain's Council of Bral has placed a 5000gp bounty on his head, dead or alive. The COSS saw him on Barre Sinister for the Pirate/Scro/Tauran conference. A member of the Shipwrecker Fellows pirate organization. He appears in Chapter 4, Turn 2 [22nd day of the 6th month, 5049 OC].

Lazzer: One of the captain pirates of the Shipwrecker Fellows' ADDER. He commands a Lamprey. He is first mentioned by Talus in Chapter 2, Turn 12 [1st day of the 5th Month, 5049 OC].

Lewsawm: A priest of Ptah on Wrighters. He is encountered by the COSS in Chapter 1, Turn 7 [30th day of the 4th Month, 5049 OC].

Lipoec: A one-eyed human, he owns a cog in Ironpiece. Seguld looked at the cog as a possible purchase for the COSS. He appears in Chapter 3, Turn 34 [15th day of the 6th month, 5049 OC].

LOKI's FURY: Longship used by the Shipwrecker Fellows to carry stolen booty to Bral to be fenced by the Red Masks. This information learned from Oquid in Chapter 5, Turn 40 [11th day of the 7th month, 5049 OC].

MAIDEN'S HEART: A pirate ship captained by Duskhird Longeye, a half-ogre pirate, the ship, captain and crew were captured by the Night Badgers. Marshal: Owner and operator of Marshal's Smithy, he is Paco's father and friend to Italapate. The COSS met him in Chapter 1, Turn 21-23, Group 4 [17th day of the 4th Month, 5049 OC].

Mathilda: A female gnome waitress at "Friendly Eatery" on Ironpiece. Billy becomes infatuated with her as he eats at the resturant. She appears in Chapter 3, Turn 34 [15th day of the 6th month, 5049 OC].

Merethian: A half-elf, he is an actor at the Royal Theatrical Company. He is romantically linked to Ellana Cozar. He is mentioned in Crystal Ball 2nd month of 5049 OC.

Micharle,Bianca: Mentioned by Holland in Chapter 3, Turn 2 [11th day of the 5th Month, 5049 OC]. Human female, she is the Secretary and Royal Representative to the Council of Captains. She announced the sale of letters of marque and later announced the creation of the Bureau of Customs, which led to more necessary bribes. She is mentioned in Crystal Ball 3rd month of 5049 OC and subsequently in Crystal Ball 4th month of 5049 OC.

Mikil: The only mapmaker on Wrighters. He is encountered by the COSS in Chapter 1, Turn 7 [30th day of the 4th Month, 5049 OC].

Milken: A human, Captain of the NIGHTPROWLER, a Great Galley and member of the Shipwrecker Fellows. He was originally in an adventuring group with Holland but betrayed the group. The COSS saw him on Barre Sinister for the Pirate/Scro/Tauran conference. He later hired Herminard to kidnap Holland in an attempt to recover a clue to Blackjammer's Cutlass. He was killed during a boarding attempt on the NIGHTWIND over Iceberg. He is first mentioned by Talus in Chapter 2, Turn 12 [1st day of the 5th Month, 5049 OC]. MORNING SUN GLORY: Tauran Navy Hammership. It was one of the ships on Barre Sinister. It first appeared in Chapter 4, Turn 3 [22nd day of the 6th month, 5049 OC].

Moune, Tarilia: The lady is the head and founder of the trading house Moune and hired the COSS as her adventuring company. Lady Moune is first introduced in Chapter 1, Turn 14 [15th day of the 4th Month, 5049 OC]. She is a steel-grey haired lady. Her hair flows free, fashionably, and even in her fifties she is quite a looker. She covertly watched Ferric's duel with Dougal and later is learned she is the foster mother to Ferric. She first covertly appears in Chapter 4, Turn 19 [26th day of the 6th month, 5049 OC] and subsequently appears in Chapter 6, Turn 6 [15th day of the 7th month, 5049 OC].

MYARIDRIM: "Emarald Hornet" IEN Man-O-War ship. It engaged and destroyed a Neogi mindspider near Numliador. It is the sole surviving ship of the campaign known as Cirathorn's Folly. It appeared over Bral to standoff a Scro Mantis (DEZTAGRAT). It is first mentioned in Crystal Ball 2nd month of 5049 OC and subsequently in Crystal Ball 7th month of 5049 OC.

Night Badgers: An adventuring company who captured the pirate Duskhird Long-Eye, a half-ogre, and his ship and turned them over to the Bral authorities. They were mentioned in Crystal Ball 7th month of 5049 OC.

NIGHT PROWLER: A Shipwrecker Fellow pirate galley, captain by Milken. It was one of the ships at Barre Sinister. The COSS captured it and renamed it the NIGHTWIND. It appears in Chapter 4, Turn 3 [22nd day of the 6th month, 5049 OC].

Ocaba: Captain of the FLOW GHOST and a member of the Shipwrecker Fellows. He is first mentioned by Periander in Chapter 2, Turn 13 [1st day of the 5th Month, 5049 OC].

Oquid: A human female apprentice mage, she was forced to work for Milken as a helmsman and then for Froa (as well as consort). Once the COSS killed Froa and captured the other pirates Oquid surrendered and begged for liberation. Leera later took Oquid on as an apprentice. She first appears in Chapter 5, Turn 39 [10th day of the 7th month, 5049 OC].

Opumbia: A male giff. He is the Captain of the LION'S THUNDER and Ives' uncle. Ives sent him a missive telling him of his new posting with the COSS. He is first mentioned in Chapter 6, Turn 10 [16th day of the 7th month, 5049 OC].

Ori: A dwarven priest at the Temple of Mordinsamman on Bral. He had an interesting chat with Dhebun concerning Dhebun's antiquated mannerisms/phrases when Dhebun came to worship at the temple. He first appears in Chapter 4, Turn 16 [29th day of the 6th month, 5049 OC].

Paco: Italapate's contact who is good at finding stuff out. Paco is a slightly dumpy looking, paleface human. He has dirty blonde hair and a scruffy beard. He is frequently dirty as he works in his father's carpentry shop, though that is not the craft he is truly training for. Paco betrays Italapate in Chapter 1, Turn 21-23, Group 4 [17th day of the 4th Month, 5049 OC].

Parthan: Deigatt's mentor first mentioned in Chapter 1, Turn 13 [8th day of the 4th Month, 5049 OC].

Pelisset: A priest of Latanuut on Wrighters. He is a short man with flaming red hair enters the shrine. He wears dark purple robes and a red sash. He was questioned about the location of the Chalice of Storms, but evidently did not know much. He "held" Holland, Italapate and Jamilla and called the watch to arrest them for trespassing. Percion: A priest of Hermes, who is a childhood friend of Allagan. He is first mentioned in Chapter 5, Turn 10 [5th day of the 7th month, 5049 OC].

Periander: He's a thin, unassuming young man with black hair and pleasant but unremarkable features. He's wearing standard sailors garb. He offered the COSS the location of the Chalice of Storms. Piet of Brom: The priest of Ptah that created the Chalice of Storms. This gruff and terse priest is in residence on Wrighters. He is mentioned in Chapter 1, Turn 7 [30th day of the 4th Month, 5049 OC].

PRINCE COZAR: Royal Bralian hammership. It placed itself between the DEZTAGRAT and MYARIDRIM to prevent conflict. It is mentioned in Crystal Ball 7th month of 5049 OC.

PROVIDENT: Galleon out of Refuge reported seeing TRIK'IKI*IL^TIK nautiloid adrift in the Flow between Realmspace and Bralspace. It was mentioned in Crystal Ball 6th month of 5049 OC.

PROWLER: A pirate galley that the COSS encountered at the Shipwrecker Fellows' base of operations in Chapter 2, Turn 19 [2nd day of the 5th Month, 5049 OC].

PTAH-HOTEP: Temple-ship of Ptah. It stopped by Bral to pick up supplies and mercenaries. It first appears in Crystal Ball 1st month of 5049 OC.

Rak: A halfling proprietor of "Rak, Shac & Beni's Clothing Emporium". He is the twin of Shac (triplets?) and does some tailoring for Billy. He first appears in Chapter 5, Turn 10 [5th day of the 7th month, 5049 OC].

RAMPAGE: Black pirate hammership, captain is Cain. It was one of the ships at Barre Sinister. It appears in Chapter 4, Turn 3 [22nd day of the 6th month, 5049 OC].

Randal, Crynar: Captain of the RESPLENDENT and leader of the Gallents, his crew aided the COSS in the attack against the FLOW GHOST. Being opportunistic, he took advantage of the temporary weakness of the COSS to take the choice loot from the FLOW GHOST. He carries a rapier in right hand and wears a red surcoat over a white shirt, tan pants, and leather armor. He has long, loose, black hair going gray at the temples. He was encountered in Chapter 2, Turn 25 [2nd day of the 5th Month, 5049 OC]. Encountered the COSS on Ironpiece and attempted to bet Italapate the CoSS' helm against his ship. Italapate was dissuaded from taking the bet. He appears again in Chapter 3, Turn 37 [15th day of the 6th month, 5049 OC].

Ratchet: Gnome female, the daughter of Thromos. During the COSS's layover on Ironpiece, she asks Raken to playtest a new gnomish boardgame. She first appears in Chapter 3, Turn 37 [15th day of the 6th month, 5049 OC].

REBUTTAL: A black Wasp owned and operated by Herminard the Eloquent. Mentioned in Chapter 2, Turn 12 [1st day of the 5th Month, 5049 OC]. It appears in Chapter 4, Turn 3 [22nd day of the 6th month, 5049 OC].

Reodry: A lizardman who was Bosil's right hand man. He dies in combat with the COSS. He appears in Chapter 5, Turn 14 [5th day of the 7th month, 5049 OC].

REORX'S BEARD: Galleon from Krynnspace. It reported a battle in the Flow just outside of the Dragon portal to Bralspace between a Scro Mantis and a Sidiath Line swanship. It was mentioned in Crystal Ball 3rd month 5049 OC.

RESPLENDENT: A yellow Dragonfly operated by the Gallents, an adventuring party from Greyspace. Mentioned in Chapter 2, Turn 12 [1st day of the 5th Month, 5049 OC]. It appears again in Chapter 3, Turn 36 [15th day of the 6th month, 5049 OC].

Rex, Tomigan, The"Ivory Knight": A human, Captain of the pirate ship SPECTRAL HAND. The COSS saw him on Barre Sinister for the Pirate/Scro/Tauran conference. He first appears in Chapter 4, Turn 2 [22nd day of the 6th month, 5049 OC].

RIBALD SCAVVER: House Kullek's hammership. It was sent to Barbuda to check up on a fishing operation. Upon arrivial it could not find any of the employees. It is mentioned in Crystal Ball 2nd month 5049 OC.

Rixil: A Thri-kreen that works at Gaspar's Reclamations. It is a huge bug, vaguely centaur or dracon shaped, with its lower thorax supported by eight legs and its head atop a connecting torso with two "arms". It has two large, multifaceted eyes and mandible mouthparts. The COSS met it in Chapter 1, Turn 26 [17th day of the 4th Month, 5049 OC].

R'LYEH: A Wrighters galleon used to collect port taxes. Encountered by the COSS in Chapter 2, Turn 5 [30th day of the 4th Month, 5049 OC].

Ryth: A human levy and tax collector working on the R'LYEH for Wrighters harbourmaster. Encountered by the COSS in Chapter 2, Turn 5 [30th day of the 4th Month, 5049 OC].

Sabbagh: A Lieutenant under Post-Captain Wilhemina. He is the first mate and chief helmsman of the FLOWFISH. He is a plain man of maybe thirty. His dirty blond hair cropped close to his skull. He wears chainmail and has a hammer hanging from his belt. First introduced to the Company in Chapter 1, Turn 1 [1st day of the 4th Month, 5049 OC]. He appears also in Chapter 1, Turn 2, Turn 7 to 8, 11 to 13. Along with some sailors, he helped guard the NIGHTWIND when Ferric went to his duel with Dougal in case of any surprise attacks. Sands: A Lieutenant under Post-Captain Wilhemina. He is the second mate and navigator of the FLOWFISH. He is an old, white-haired man with a peg leg. First introduced to the Company in Chapter 1, Turn 1 [1st day of the 4th Month, 5049 OC]. He also appears in Chapter 1, Turns 2 to 5, Turn 7 to 8. He is with the rest of the FLOWFISH crew at the Laughing Beholder Tavern, when Wilhelmina buys the COSS drinks. He appears in Chapter 6, Turn 6 [15th day of the 7th month, 5049 OC].

SCULPIN: A tradesman that is overdue in its arrival to Bral from a trip to Ironpiece. It left that port on time, as vessels which left after her have already arrived on Bral. It is mentioned by Talus in Chapter 3, Turn 5 [13th day of the 5th Month, 5049 OC] and in the Crystal Ball of the 5th month 5049 OC.

SILENT STAR: The first ship crewed by the COSS. It was the captured Eelship WHIRLWIND. It was renamed in Chapter 1, Turn 14 [15th day of the 4th Month, 5049 OC]. It was destroyed by to Scro Viperships in Chapter 3, Turn 24 [12th day of the 5th Month, 5049 OC].

Skyflower, Lamruil: "The Storyteller": Famous ancient elf bard, seen in Bral taverns. He is mentioned in Crystal Ball 6th month 5049 OC.

SORO'NUME: The ship that transferred a cargo of smoke powder and weapons to the COSS in Chapter 3, Turn 10 [30th day of the 5th Month, 5049 OC].

Sotman, Garril: A young member of the Gallents encountered in Chapter 2, Turn 26 [2nd day of the 5th Month, 5049 OC]. He describes himself as a mercenary from Greyspace. His last three outfits were all slaughtered in wars against someone called "Iuz", a demon or god of some sort from Garril's descriptions. Garril considers his current job a stroke of luck, because Crynar has lost a battle in the two years he's been aboard (and, Garril adds, "he isn't eager to test his record"). Garril wears padded armor, carries a shield, a dagger, and a light crossbow.

SPECTRAL HAND: White squidship of the Ivory Knight, a pirate but not wanted by Bralspace authorities. It was one of the ships at Barre Sinister. It was mentioned in Crystal Ball 6th month of 5049 OC and the COSS actually saw it in Chapter 4, Turn 3 [22nd day of the 6th month, 5049 OC].

SPELLJAMMER: Reportedly sighted in the Arcane controlled sphere of Refuge. It is mentioned in Crystal Ball 2nd month 5049 OC.

Standish: Lady Moune's Senior Agent. He is a thin, balding man wearing wire-rim glasses. He appears for the first time in Chapter 1, Turn 14 [15th day of the 4th Month, 5049 OC] and again in Chapter 6, Turn 6 [15th day of the 7th month, 5049 OC].

STARBRIGHT: A missing galleon from Anadia in Realmspace. It is mentioned by Talus in Chapter 3, Turn 5 [13th day of the 5th Month, 5049 OC] and in the Crystal Ball of the 5th month 5049 OC.

STIRGE: A Shipwrecker Fellow dragonfly. It became Milken's ship after the COSS captured the NIGHTPROWLER. It was destroyed over Iceberg by the COSS during Holland's rescue. It was destroyed in Chapter 5, Turn 36 [10th day of the 7th month, 5049 OC].

Storn: Raken's mentor. He is mentioned in Chapter 2, Turn 6 [30th day of the 4th Month, 5049 OC].

Tagart: A Sargeant of the Watch on Wrighters. He is a tall, vain man with long, flowing brown hair. He arrested Holland, Italapate and Jamilla for trespassing in the Shipwrecker shrine in Chapter 2, Turn 10 [1st day of the 5th Month, 5049 OC].

Targart, Bradlie: The Harbourmaster on Wrighters. He is a smarmy, weaselly man with a thin greasy mustache and dun brown clothing and speaks in a sickly sweet voice. Encountered by the COSS in Chapter 2, Turn 6 [30th day of the 4th Month, 5049 OC].

TEMPEST: An Eelship captained by Laocoon. This ship was in the attempted ambush of the FLOWFISH but fled after encountering much resistance in Chapter 1, Turn 8 [7th day of the 4th Month, 5049 OC]. It appears in Chapter 4, Turn 3 [22nd day of the 6th month, 5049 OC].

Thedrix: The bursar of the Shipwrights' Guild. Nilaroo had business with him in Chapter 3, Turn 9 [30th day of the 5th Month, 5049 OC].

Tomoshi, Tomi: An oriental woman, she is one of the HANALI'S SWORD's helmsmen. She first appears in Chapter 3, Turn 38 [16th day of the 6th month, 5049 OC].

Trakle: A street urchin hired to get the watch by Pelisset on Wrighters. Mentioned in Chapter 2, Turn 10 [1st day of the 5th Month, 5049 OC].

TRILOSHANE: A galleon captained by Mortimer Bingly, Billy Two-Thumbs' adoptive human father. The TRILOSHANE is mentioned in Chapter 1, Turn 1 [1st day of the 4th Month, 5049 OC].

TRIK'ILI*IL^TIK: Natiloid found adrift with signs of battle. Its series helm was shattered and there was no log or navigational papers. It is mentioned in Crystal Ball 6th month of 5049 OC.

Uac, Sean: A gnome witch who escaped when the COSS captured the NIGHTPROWLER at Barre Sinister. She was later slain during a boarding attempt on the NIGHTWIND over Iceberg. She was slain in Chapter 5, Turn 47 [11th day of the 7th month, 5049 OC].

Unnamed Gnomish Wizard: Deigatt and Leera met him at the Grindlethorpe Academy (Illusionist Guild) on Ironpiece and sold some Scro spellbooks to him. Leera also checked on membership criteria. Guildmaster? He first appears in Chapter 3, Turn 38 [16th day of the 6th month, 5049 OC].

Vais: His full name is Veneficus Aenus Imago Struo. He was constructed on Thessalys, in Greatspace by the artificer wizard Tremigistus. Fifteen years ago he ran out of energy while visiting Ginsel. Vais was activated by Holland in Chapter 3, Turn 7 [29th day of the 5th Month, 5049 OC].

Valiss of the Broken Arrow: A friend of Italapate's, he is one of Italapate's family's closest friends and allies on the Rock. He is first mentioned in Chapter 3, Turn 3 [11th day of the 5th Month, 5049 OC]. Italapate told him about the wolf-head humanoids and asked him for information pertaining to the Blackjammer's Cutlass. He appears in Chapter 6, Turn 8 [16th day of the 7th month, 5049 OC].

Valkan: Leader of Valkan's Legion, a mercenary group. He was seen entering the Elven forest with Cestra Silverfist. He is mentioned in Crystal Ball 4th month 5049 OC.

VERGEDAIN'S HAMMER: A hammership owned and operated by the Smith's Coster. They were travelling from Greyspace to Bral with a cargo of smokepowder, wheellocks, and shortswords. Soon after entering Bralspace they were attacked by a Monarch-class Armada. The 'HAMMER suffered moderate damage, but was able to lose its attacker in a small asteroid field nearby. Doin Fireaxe, captain of the 'HAMMER, has said the attacking vessel was crewed by elves or humans, judging from their size. The 'HAMMER is mentioned in Chapter 3, Turn 5 [13th day of the 5th Month, 5049 OC] and in the Crystal Ball of the 4th month 5049 OC.

Vigilius of Greatspace: A merchant, he has been granted permission to run weekly chariot races in the Arena of Frun. He was mentioned in Crystal Ball 7th month of 5049 OC.

WHIRLWIND: The pirate Eelship captained by the half-orc Kleobis. It was capture by the FLOWFISH in Chapter 1, Turn 8 [7th day of the 4th Month, 5049 OC]. It was renamed by the COSS to SILENT STAR.

Wi, Chan Fu: Shou Ambassador to Bral. He is mentioned in Crystal Ball 6th month of 5049 OC.

Wildflow: One of Raken's friends that the COSS met on Wrighters in Chapter 2, Turn 6 [30th day of the 4th Month, 5049 OC]. She is a middle-aged woman and wears deep blue clothing. She's an old friend of Raken's from his earliest days as a star druid.

Wilhelmn: The receptionist of the Library of the Spheres, he is a short, bespectaled gnome with wrinkled face and white hair. The COSS met him in Chapter 1, Turn 21-23, Group 2 [17th day of the 4th Month, 5049 OC[.

Wilhemina: A nine-foot tall, 600 pound, female giff who acts as House Moune's Post-Captain on the Tradesman FLOWFISH. She dresses in an elaborate purple naval officer's uniform trimmed in gold with a tricorne hat that covers her dark, coarse, pony-tailed hair. Her preferred weapons are her wheel-lock pistols and her cutlass. She seems only to be able to speak in shouts, possibly as a result of repeated use of her wheel-lock pistols. First introduced to the Company in Chapter 1, Turn 1 [1st day of the 4th Month, 5049 OC], she appears also in Chapter 1, Turns 2 to 14. The COSS rescued the FLOWFISH from being attacked by a long sleek wolf-like jammer-design that no one had seen before, manned by wolf-men. She treated the COSS to drinks at the Laughing Beholder Tavern for the aid. She appears again in Chapter 6, Turn 1 [14th day of the 7th month, 5049 OC], and subsequently appeared in Chapter 6, Turn 6 [15th day of the 7th month, 5049 OC].

ZAGIG'S LADY: Smith's Coster tradesman from Grayspace, never arrived at Bral. It is mentioned in Crystal Ball 2nd month 5049 OC.
