Seldarspace
Seldarspace, home of the IEN, named after the elven pantheon. As can be seen below, many of it's planets have been named after members of the elven gods, including the first planet, araushnee...
Angharradh
AKA: The Triumvirate
Three seperate size B, Spherical Fire Bodies. Primary orbit.
Main Population: Phoenix, Fire Elementals
Est. Population: 15,000
Resources: Heat, Light
Commerce: None
Military: None
Cycle: None
The triune suns of Seldarspace seem from a distance to be one body, but are infact three identically sized suns, one named Aerdrie, one named Sehanine, and one named Hanali. Phoenix live swimming in the heated air between the three, while legions of fire elementals stand watch for any nearby non-elven ships, which they attack relentlessly.
Araushnee
AKA: Abandon
Size D, Spherical Earth Body. 500 million mile orbit.
Main Population: Dinosaur's, Flora and Fauna, likely some Drow in the underdark, a Tarrasque
Est. Population: Unestimated
Resources: Metals, Minerals, some Crystalline
Commerce: None
Military: Possibly some drow
Cycle: 200 days
The planet of Seldarspace named after the being now known as Lloth has long been abandoned by the elves. It is said that a million years ago the fight between the usurper's and the seldarine took place here, and there are large areas of dead magic and craters to support this theory. Ruined cities of elven make litter both the landscape, the underdark, and the sea, although the underdark cities are very few and far between, more-so outposts built during the ancient war. It has been forbidden for any to land on the planet for so long that none can remember who even gave the order, but a small group of elven armada's and man-o-war's guards the planet. It is likely there is much magical knowledge, both in books and in items, left in the ancient cities, some of which were evacuated while other's merely fell silent, their population killed by disease or magic between sunrise and sunset of the same day.
The only activity that can be certainly accounted for is the large population of dinosaurs, who were under elven control in the southern continent but have now taken over large portions of the surface. The only being holding them back from taking over the whole planet is the Tarrasque of this sphere, who currently dwells and feeds on the population.
Lareth
AKA: Homeworld
Size F, Spherical Earth body. 1,200 million mile orbit.
Main Population: Elves
Est. Population: 6 billion
Resources: Metals, Minerals, Flora and Fauna
Commerce: IEN, Typical merchant Trading within the sphere
Military: IEN (2 fleets, the Homeguard Protectors and the Freedom Preservers)
Cycle: 360 days
The leader of the seldarine keeps his watchful eye over this planet, both of his name, and by elven lore, of his blood. The crescent moon orbiting it has become his symbol, as it is seen every night travelling across the sky by over five billion elves living on the planet. Nearly every elven race in existence is represented here, including avariel, valley elves from the world of Oerth, and many other strange off-shoots. The only racial stock not to exist here is (understandably) drow, Kuras (the IEN finds them too violent), and bionoids. There are some underdark caverns inhabited by white skinned elves with pale eyes, but it is believed (as they rarely interact with the others) that they evolved there.
Elven lore holds that once the planet was abound with orcs and the goblinoid races, but they were eventually routed in an immense genocidal war, which happened around the same time Corellon defeated Gruumsh one-eye. Supposedly the two gods fought upon what was once the moon, Corellon at that time merely being a spiritual figure and not the overlord god of the elves, and when Larethian defeated the orc god most of the moon was destroyed from the explosion. A bargain was made with Gruumsh who was later prooved to still be alive, preventing his or any of his allies' avatars from entering the sphere or any others, unfortunately restricting the elven deities also. For this reason the moon is considered the most holy place in all existence to the IEN and the elves in the sphere, as it was the last place the passage of an elven god was felt (except for the fights between Araushnee's forces and the elves' on the abandoned planet).
Gruumsh knows of this, and holds a trumpy card of one avatar appearance for up to an entire six months straight (the time it took corellon to war with araushnee on the other planet).
The Crescent Moon
AKA: His Watchful Eye
Size B, Crescent-shaped Earth Body.
Parent Body: Lareth
Main Population: None
Est. Population: None
Resources: Silver
Commerce: None
Military: None
Cycle: 1 day
The silver moon of Lareth is, in fact, made entirely of silver, and glows with a hazy, comforting light, constantly. Many deposits of the silver have been found throughout the sphere and upon the surface of the planet, remnants of the moon from the explosion during the Gruumsh battle.
Lashrael
AKA: Heart Singer
Size A, Spherical Fire body. 1,800 million mile orbit.
Main Population: None
Est. Population: None
Resources: Heat, Light
Commerce: None
Military: IEN outpost (stationary armada)
Cycle: 20 days
The body named after Corellon Larethian's messenger Lashrael is almost a mini-sun, burning across the sphere at an incredible sphere. A single armada orbits it, home to a bladesinger guild known as the Scorched Tigers, it is also used for fast transport across the sphere. in 10 days it travels to the exact opposite side of the sphere, much faster than any spelljamming vessel could move. For this reason many military ships dock with the armada or orbit the body, "hopping off" when they are closer to their destination. Non military personnel are not allowed at Lashrael, as occasionally bursts of flame have been known to blow from it's surface, and only the military ships have the magical backing to resist the effects.
Felarathael
AKA: Logic Master
Size A, Spherical Earth body. 1,800 million mile orbit.
Main Population: Elves
Est. Population: 1,500
Resources: Flora and Fauna
Commerce: Scholar's Academy
Military: IEN outpost (stationary armada)
Cycle: 20 days
Another of Corellon's twin messengers, Felarathael is a small forest world, with only one large city. The city is home to many scholars across the sphere, as it is typically easier and faster to get to the planet speeding through wildspace than to travel to Lareth.
Leafhome
AKA: Protector
Larger than size G, Dyson-belt Liveworld. 3,100 million mile orbit.
Main Population: Elves, Orcs, Goblinoids
Est. Population: 20 billion
Resources: Starfly, Air
Commerce: Shipyards, Food and other resources
Military: IEN (10 fleets)
Cycle: 646 days
Actually a large sphere of gigantic starfly planets orbiting the sun, each evenly spaced and moving as one with the others, Leafhome is an enormous body, yet it is more like an asteroid belt in that the starflys cover only 35% of the orbital sphere. Hundreds of IEN shipyards dot the enormous starfly plants, each of which is over fifty miles long. The shipyards are not always manned, as they must be left alone sometimes for up to five years at a time for their planets to grow accordingly, although this is typically only the case with armada shipyards. Leafhome is the only place within the sphere that any orcs and other goblinkin survive, having an immense area to hide in. They rarely bother the elves, however, typically warring amongst themselves. Leafhome is, in a sense, the source of the IEN's symbol - as each of the starfly plants has flattened along its orbit to resemble an aspen leaf, the larger leaf pointing backwards along its trajectory.
It is a well kept secret that there is a mythal that was bound into leafhome when it was very young, one that when activated seals off the inside of the sphere from anything outside.
Mestarine
Size C, Flat Earth body. 3,700 million mile orbit.
Main Population: Sylvan/Wood elves, Kuras
Est. Population: 1,500,000
Resources: Metals, Flora and Fauna, Water
Commerce: IEN, Typical merchant Trading within the sphere
Military: IEN (1 fleet), Mestarine Wolf Fleet (20 odd man-o-war's)
Cycle: 286 days
Named for the lonewolf of the seldarine because it is outside of Leafhome, Mestarine is home to some Kuras elves, but mainly savage or wood elves. It is a flat world sporting an enormous mountain range and several deserts on one side, and forests and marshes on the other. It's lakes produce some of the purest water in the sphere, a commodity to the Mestarine whom are treated with disrespect by the IEN due to their Kuras relations. Luckily, the IEN sees the value of the planet, and still protects it.
Twisted
Size A, Irregular Water Body.
Parent Body: Mestarine
Main Population: Fish, Aquatic Dragons
Est. Population: 10,000
Resources: Fish
Commerce: Fishing
Military: see mestarine
Cycle: 37 days
A large spring-shaped coil of water orbiting the flatworld, the salt waters of twisted provide beautiful fish, as well as home to seveal aquatic dragons. It orbits once evey mesteraine month, and the mestarine are the only group in the sphere to not recognise the standard galactic calendar.
