Bodies
The Dust Clouds
AKA: Choker
Size D, Irregular Air Body (more akine to a sparse belt). 3100 million mile orbit.
Main Population: Mephits, Galeb D'uhr
Est. Population: 10,000
Resources: None
Commerce: None
Military: None
Cycle: Variable
This is a collection of space dust, and burn-off from the Kanoxx'Blaze. At it's center is a small colony of Galeb D'uhr, living upon a very large, long inactive, earth elemental, some 500 foot in length. It is due to this, and them, that the dust and grime is attracted. Most of the actual dirt dust is from the several planets in the sphere that have been damaged in large ammounts, or broken up totally. It is a bane to travellers, as quite often it blends into the background of space, only detectable due to the blanket it places over the stars. It is frequently used as an escape by pirates, whom risk fouling their air totally, but of course are usually not pursued by Order ships. Anyone without knowledge of the clouds has a 20% chance of accidentally drifting into them, requiring 1d4+1 days to find their way out. The remaining 80% chance is divided between not encountering the clouds at all (50%), or someone spotting them in time to escape un-fouled (30%).
Air here varies between barely breathable, absolutely oily and grimy, and pure choking dust. There are several ships within the clouds drifting, their crews long suffocated, and the quality effecting a ship is random each round (equal chance of changing to any except clear, but obviously it cannot change for the better)
The Bitch's Threesome
AKA: Amazonville, Eyecandy Lane
Size A, Spherical Earth Body. 3400 million mile orbit.
Main Population: Amazons, small rare tribes of subservient/non intelligent males
Est. Population: 250,000
Resources: Lumber, Gold, Silver
Commerce: None External
Military: Groundling Amazonian Warrior Millitia
Cycle: 2000 days
A triumvirate group of planets, these three, magically bound together by Amazonian Shamanistic Rituals, orbit each other. Each holds several tribes of Amazon women, one whole planet of which is actually a long-forgotten splinter colony of Lakshu. There are several, unintelligent male human tribes, culled and effectively farmed by the Amazons, and many different monstrous races. One planet, Fear, is a jungle planet, called fear for the many monsters that lurk in it's rain forests and come out at night. Another is called Oblivion, for the deep oceans surrounding it's floating islands, which are plagued by Hatori (From Krynn). The last is, quite appropriately, called Death, where any sentient being dying becomes an undead of some sort, comparable in power to it's original counterpart in life.
Once a year each planet's main tribe (ie, the one currently holding the most power or land) goes on a quest for some item of sacrifice to appease the Amazonian Pantheon and Spirits, and keep the bodies spinning and orbiting safely for another year. For three thousand years this has happened - since the original ritual to prevent the three bodies, once moons orbiting an Amazonian planet, from crashing together as their world was destroyed by tectonic activity. The spiritual quests always involve travelling to one of the other planets, through large, one way teleporters, and returning through yet other teleporters. Regardless of the reason behind the quest, other Amazon's always attack, the secondary or less powerful tribes than the main of each world, because if the main tribe of one world is weaker than a secondary on another, the ritual deserves to fail.
The two other worlds apart from the defenders will be sent into space, possibly destroyed, while the defender becomes a main body once more, growing in size. To date, obviously, this has not happened.
Relic
AKA: Order's Home, Lesson Unlearned
Size E, Spherical Deadworld. 3700 million mile orbit.
Main Population: None
Est. Population: 0
Resources: None
Commerce: None
Military: None
Cycle: None (Stationary Orbit)
Without an atmosphere, this planet is the once-home of the Order. It has been silent, as dead planets are called, for some 700 years, when it finally gave up after the ecological abuse of the order. It's air depleted, the only remaining inhabitants a few sparse undead groups and magical creations, the Order obviously has not learned it's ways are destructive, or simply does not care. It is as if the gods themselves have abandoned this world, and this is not far from the truth - as this world was, in fact, originally a long dead world when the Order settled there, over five thousand years ago. Back then they were the Order of Life, and seeded the world, so that future generations could look upon life given from death and have hope. Unfortunately, it is now death, forged by life, upon life forged from death.
Arabani Citadel
AKA: BlackDeath, Spider's Curse, Lloth's Kiss
Size A, Orbital Station. 3950 million mile orbit.
Main Population: Drow
Est. Population: 150,000
Resources: None
Commerce: Drow Mercantile
Military: Medium Arabani Fleet
Cycle: 3000 days
The adamantium base of House Arabani, this huge monstrous, and vicious looking base, is home to some 150 thousand drow. Slaves, Nobles, Commoners, Royals - an entire Drow culture inside a black, impenetrable walled home. They construct their ships here, plan their schemes - but more often than not, make war upon each other, as the 20 odd sub-houses that each claim Royal blood vie for domination. Arabani left the underdark to be able to overcome this ridicullous racial rivalry some 800 years ago, but the inherent chaos of Drow society has reduced it once more to internal strife and war. Many sections are blocked off from others, and raids on each other's ships occur often.
The Citadel includes drider caverns, artificially created to resemble the fissures and underground valleys drider usually occupy on-world, and there are also areas known as spider farms. Any drow sub-house has access to the drider sector, but only the most prominent 15 sub-houses can access the spider farms. For this reason, many lesser sub-houses and any mercenary groups must purchase their spiders either internally, from other sub-houses, or trade with the neogi on LordMasterBase.
Selvetarm Royal Station
AKA: Warrior's Menace
Size A, Orbital Station.
Parent Body: Arabani Citadel
Main Population: Drow
Est. Population: 15,000
Resources: None
Commerce: Training of Warriors
Military: Light Selvetarian Fleet
Cycle: 20 days
One of the two opposing "outposts", this base is controlled purely by those faithful to Selvetarm. Here all Drow are trained in the combative arts, although it is mainly manned by males. It is the spatial counterpart to the menzoberranzen academy "melee-magthere"
Kiiranslee Royal Observatory
AKA: Undead's Vigilance
Size A, Orbital Station.
Parent Body: Arabani Citadel
Main Population: Undead, Drow
Est. Population: 2,000
Resources: None
Commerce: Graveyard, Undead
Military: None
Cycle: 20 days
The second opposing outpost, this base is run by priests of Kiiranslee, and their groups of undead servants. It is both a mousoleum for dead drow nobles, and graveyard for commoners, whom some of which end up as undead. It is a dark macarbe place, and feared by many of the drow. The undead are of particular use against the Illithids, whom cannot detect them (as per the Illithiad).
Vhaeraun's Lesson
AKA: Exile
Size A, Orbital Base.
Parent Body: Arabani Citadel
Main Population: Drow
Est. Population: Variable, but low
Resources: None
Commerce: Permanent Imprisonment
Military: None
Cycle: None (Attatched through large Adamantium cable)
Attatched to the lowermost spire of Arabani base by an immensely long cable of adamantium, this tower serves as a prison for both traitors, and unwanted nobles (ie those framed as traitors, the most commonpart of the population). Several drider groups are also present, although most of them are kept in the Drider section of Arabani Base itself. Many try to retrieve their comrades or relatives from the prison, but are either fought off by the Driders (whom simply want to kill), enemy sub-house ships, or some of the more insane members of the tower.
New Bral
AKA: Pirate's Refuge
Size A, Irregular Earth Body. 4250 million mile orbit.
Main Population: Humans, Halflings, Goblinoids
Est. Population: 20,000
Resources: None
Commerce: Mercantile, but mainly Pirate smuggling sales, and black markets
Military: None
Cycle: 1000 days
Named after the once famed now whipped port of Bral, this pirate base is almost as chaotic as Arabani Base. It is a cess-pit of crime, debauchery, smuggling, and untrusty deals. It is, to all pirates, what Bral should have been - or more importantly, was and still should be. Unlike bral, it's asteroid is covered almost intirely, has basically no law or government, and has no history apart from the current. The only reason the base gets away with existing, is that the Order's Island is so distant, and it tolerates it's prescence so it knows where the crime bosses are.
Order's Island
AKA: Evil's Heart, Diamond so Dark
Size B, Flat Earthbody. 4500 million mile orbit.
Main Population: Order
Est. Population: 1 Million
Resources: Fish, Lumber, mana Crystals
Commerce: Mercantile
Military: Heavy Order Fleet
Cycle: 1000 days
The main home of the Order, this flat world has been shaped by them over the years. Unlike the Dark Crucifix, it is populated solely with Order zealots, and resembles a plataeu, rising from a land mass surrounded by water. The water spreads along the flat, until it strikes the circular ring of mountainous ranges slowly terraformed by the hands of the Order. The other side is totally covered in dirt, giving the water a bottom, and the order a place to keep it's fleet's, military, and resource stockpiles. The topside features grand, beautiful spires, many of which are mirrored back on Dark Crucifix, excepting their pure marble construction here.
