Star of Enerithan

> Secondly, I really do not think that Harrington/Tassadar would have a wife
before Sarah. What makes the story so tragic is that Sarah was Harrington's
one true love. His love was so strong that he was driven when she passed
away.

Well, it's still a lil tragic, because the first wife didnt really love him,
and used him for his estate/money etc. In truth, I am likely going to make
her a polymorphed Moon Dragon, who fell pregnant to him, and gave birth to
my campaign's super villain, Targis. Of course, normally a female dragon
can't become preggers to a humanoid, but I don't care, DM special ;)

You think that's all my ideas? Muahahaha. My end plot involves The Fool
being present at the felljammer's "birth", because cloakmaster happened 20
years ago in my campaign. While everyone thought the stupid lich was eaten
by a galbrezu, careful thinking would show that it happened in the flow,
where no planar travel is possible - it was an illusion! He, in reality,
escaped using a device I wrote up that basically "draws" the dead soul of a
specifically bonded creature to it, upon their death (ie the destruction of
his phylactery), and can be used to reincarnate them into a new body (the
item MIGHT be on the Korgesh NPC's sheet), similar to how fistandantilus'
stone worked (except, because in my campaign mages use mana crystals etc
etc, this is one huge mofo of a mana crystal).

A certain half moon dragon, the son of Tassadar, found the item in the hold
of the felljammer, (where no one had noticed it during it's notorious
career), only 5 years ago (Targis the dragon being about 20). The Fool
spoke to Targis, through a carefully worded magic mouth (speak to the first
evil creature that nears, "Place me near a male human body and you will be
granted an ally more powerful than you can imagine"), and was soon
reincarnated (using the body of a farmer or something equally easily
acquired). Since then, The Fool has piloted Sarah's Star for 5 years, in an
attempt to find the new spelljammer, and destroy it - thus leaving the next
closest smalljammer, the Felljammer, to become the next incarnation of the
spelljammer.

Meanwhile, Targis learned much of his sickass magic powers from The Fool,
and certain pieces of information about his own power (ie that he could have
a kindredbond, as I am allowing those in the campaign, similar to wheel of
time warder's, but for dragon's only as in council or wyrmms), and the other
important information that the unhuman war II was coming. After a slight
lull due to Targis' intervention, and his taking of the Scro Captain korgesh
(lv 18 warrior) as kindred, the war resurges, making things nice and
interesting.

Not to mention the fact that, to destroy the spelljammer, The Fool is going
to use Enerithan (the captured sun dragon lover of one of the pc's, father
of another, old character of mine etc etc), and his wonderfully hot dragon's
breath (the fool prodding and poking until it was brought out of the dragon,
as I was never able to when I pc'd him). Of course, in the phlogiston, this
is going to make a nice lil "bang" - not to mention likely destroy Enerithan
and the Spelljammer. And how will The Fool do this, you ask? Well,
considering I made him a lv 30 necromancer (bit more appropriate than "just
another lich" - I always give classes to my main NPC's), he's going to turn
Enerithan into a dracolich, under his own command.

> I'll try to look them over soon. I'm at work, so I may not have much
time. Damn, but I need a decent computer at home!

U and me both - I'm using my dad's because I sold mine (mind u his is a
p3/733 so it's not that bad hehe), and he never uses it. I think the chat
is definately a good idea, especially if you like where I'm going with all
this. Obviously, the end result of this "series" in the campaign is that
the PC's will have to, somehow, convince Enerithan to overthrow the mind
control of the lich, and destroy the felljammer (which, once the Fool
Leaves, as he does not have his crystal anymore having given it to Targis,
will cause him to become a free, evil spirit of the flow). How exactly
would this happen? Easy, just breathe and bang there goes lil felly (of
course there goes Enerithan too!). Of course, there's one slight problem -
at the same time all this happens, a fleet of some 150 scro mantis, dozen
drow allied ships, 30 or 40 hired mercenary ships, 20 chainmen ships, with
good ol Targis flying at he head will approach the sphere the battle happens
in front of (druidspace on my map), to conquer it, and destroy/capture it's
held prophecies (not to mention incredibly rich mineral deposits). How on
earth can the pc's stop all this?

Well, in the prophecies, Amber, the Druid whom gave birth to a strange
phenomenon being Targis Son and Enerithans Daughter, will awaken a power of
the wildspace and phlogiston druids combined, which has never been used. By
draining the entire energy of the sphere (including population), through
herself, she will set of an explosion that will destroy the fleet, targis,
The Fool, and the Felljammer (after Enerithan has been converted of course).
It will, unfortunately, destroy the entire sphere also, and drain enough
energy out of Amber to almost kill her, and enough energy out of everyone
within the sphere to certainly kill her - but it's better than the scro
fleet dominating a sphere filled with magic, psionic power, and minerals,
and then turning back towards the other spheres - where many of the fleets
are allready destroyed.

And where will this explosion take place? Why, centered on an individual,
other than Amber, who must give their life, and their existence, for the
cause.

Did I mention Enerithan was lawful good?
