"Fluidspace:
The mysterious cystal sphere floating on the edge of known space. Unlike most spheres, this odd realm isn't filled with the vaccum like void that is wildspace, but is instead filled with a viscous fluid-like matter. Luckily, the atmosphere around a ship keeps the air in and the fluid out much like it normally does in wildspace. This is a vastly unexplored realm, inhabited only by a race who call themselves the Imnari. There highly telepathic creatures were shocked to find that life existed outside of there sphere, and haved become bent on erradicating "the weak" as they call all non Imnari races. So far the only planet to be discovered is Stelce which is surrounded by an normal atmosphere, unforunately the Imnari refuse to allow any one to land on their world and will kill anything that tries. Imnari ships are being developed, and many fear it won't be long until they invade the know spheres. Imnari defy any description, weapons are useless to them, they are resistant to magic, and so far only psionicists have been able to stand up to them. Fortunately, their powers are reduced outside of their sphere are 3 have been successfully killed and brought back for research. The problem is that it took 50 well armed, and highly skillful men to bring them down, only 6 survived and 1 was uninjured. There is hope however, since the Spellweaver homeworld is very near to their own, many think it will be the first to be assaulted, and the Imnari most likely do not stand a chance against the Spellweaver nation... But if they win, may the gods save us all..."
