ALPHA-THREE

PRIMUS

Father Jherrik - Human Male, Priest of Ptah

Priest 10

S:11 I:16 W:17 D:11 C:11 Ch:12; HP:39; Thaco:14; AL:N

Badly scarred and possessed of a nervous twitch, Father
Jherrik is a common site on the streets of Primus. He
seems to know everyone, and is often consulted advice on
everything from engineering to marriage. Ptah's church
was legalized here only a few years ago, and until then
Father Jherrik had spent his clerical career in hiding;
now he seems to be making up for lost time. Jherrik has
spent the past ten of his twenty odd years as a cleric in
Passarspace; he's thinking its time to move on.

-------------------------

Gorrund - Human Male, underworld denizen

Thief 5

S:11 I:11 W:9 D:14 C:11 Ch:11; HP:21; Thaco:18; AL:NE

Skinny, dirty, unkept, and most of all, unremarkable,
Gorrund was a small time thief who got picked up in an
Invader sweep of another sphere (also under their control)
some years ago and shipped here. He managed to sneak off
the vessel transporting him when it arrived here, and has
been living on the streets ever since. He has an extensive
knowledge of the back alleys and secret ways of Primus,
but is also utterly untrustable.

------------------------

Rhoda - Human Female, Priestess of the Voidwalker

ex Thief 3/ex Mage (illusionist) 3/Priestess 5

S:7 I:17 W:15 D:17 C:8 Ch:11; HP:21; Thaco:18; AL:N

Straight black hair, pale skin. Originally a petty criminal
and minor mageling from Regia (Golotspace), Rhoda was
brought to Passarspace to serve as an assistant helmsman
on the transport ships within the sphere. One day, though,
the Voidwalker simply appeared on her vessel and announced
to one and all that Rhoda was `chosen'; then departed
shortly thereafter, taking her with it. Since then, Rhoda
has turned up in a number of places throughout the sphere,
performing tasks of an uncertain nature. Occasionally,
she claims to know `great secrets' - what the Maw really
is, ect; but she never explains further. She frequents a
temple of sorts to the Voidwalker in Primus proper.

---------------------------

Tybex - Human Male, Assassin

Thief 11

S:14 I:14 W:14 D:17 C:14 Ch:11; HP:33; Thaco:15; AL:LE

Tybex looks just like any of the other laborers and
artisans found in the sphere - average height, weight,
build, ect; even wearing the same drab garb. However, Tybex
is really a roving troubleshooter, sent by high ranking
invaders to `remove' troublesome or potentially troublesome
workers before they become signifigant problems. Usually,
but not always, this means killing the person or persons
in question. While he can turn up almost anywhere in the
sphere, he is based at Primus.

--------------------------

`Felix' - Human Male, Chainbreaker

Priest 5

S:13 I:14 W:14 D:15 C:11 Ch:11; HP:22; Thaco:18; AL:N

`Felix' adopts a variety of guises, from local yokel to
clerk to street pedlar. He actually runs a local cell of
the Chainbreakers.

---------------------------

LAKEVIEW

Crow - Human Male, Wizard

Mage 16

S:8 I:18 W:10 D:9 C:11 Ch:13; HP:33; Thaco:15; AL:N

Tall and thin, with black hair and an immense beak
of a nose, Crow is one of the very few noninvaders to
have a villa at Lakeview. Originally he was a wizard
from Lostspace, a member of the planet spanning Wizards
Guild there who became embroiled in a complex feud and
wound up turning to the Invaders for sanctuary. The
Invaders brought him here as a sort of `answer man', to
investigate a wide range of academic and magical issues
that they are not geared to deal with themselves. He is
constantly speculating about the true nature of the Maw,
the `Dark Things', why the temple to Ptah was abandoned,
experimenting with the odd substances that are dug up now
and again, ect.

------------------------

`King' Mulpano - Human Male, exile

ex Bard 3/Fighter 5

S:17 I:13 W:7 D:15 C:15 Ch:15; HP:22; Thaco:16; AL:N(E)

A big black skinned man with a cheerfull attitude,
`King' Mulpano is a deposed Invader puppet from another
sphere who was brought here for his own protection while
the Invaders decide if he can be of any further use to
them. While seemingly friendly to everbody he meets, he
is actually a born schemer, willing to use anybody or do
nearly anything to meet his purposes (which is currently
doing everything he can to convince the Invaders he is a
worthy servant of theirs). His manor here is staffed by
a score or so of bodyguards and hanger-ons (a feuding and
faction ridden lot from his old kingdom).

-------------------------

Theodore - Human Male, Servant

Thief 4

S:11 I:11 W:10 D:12 C:14 Ch:13; HP:14; Thaco:18; AL:N

Young, thin, close cropped black hair, perfect
manners. Originally from Regia in Golotspace, Theodore
was sent here when an Invader functionary realized he was
a trained, professional servant. Theodore does not serve
on the staff of any one villa; rather, he is in charge of
a small group of servants who go to whichever villa needs
their services at the time. While there, he will frequently
steal small items and sell them through the underground.

------------------------------------------------------------

GAMMA-FIVE

Sandy - Human Male, Laborer and Lunatic

Thief 4

S:11 I:13 W:10 D:14 C:12 Ch:10; HP:18; Thaco:19; AL:CE

Average height. Average weight. Average looks. Nothing
sets Sandy apart from the thousands of other laborers on
Gamma-Five - except the voices. The voices started speaking
to Sandy after Gamma-Fives last pass through the Dark Zone,
telling him things both wonderous and horrible. Now they're
telling him to kill...

--------------------------

Warner - Human Male, secret wizard

ex Thief 3/Mage 7

S:10 I:17 W:9 D:15 C:10 Ch:10; HP:17; Thaco:17; AL:N

A nondescript brown haired mouse of a man, Warner is
officially a minor tallykeeper in the records office at
Gamma-Five - a position which, properly handled, leaves
him adequate time for his secret passion - magic. To
gather the various spell components, work rituals, ect,
he often sneaks about the place, filching this or that. He
has a regular rats nest of a lair in an abandoned tunnel
beneath the records office.

---------------------------

`Bull' - Human Male, Laborer

Fighter 5

S:18/88 I:9 W:7 D:8 C:8 Ch:7; HP:41; Thaco:16; AL:N(C)

A former mercenary captured in another sphere (he was sick
at the time), `Bull' makes even the Invader overseers
a bit nervous what with his fits, brawling, and hard
stares. If they didn't find him so usefull, he'd be dead
in a heartbeat.

----------------------------

Lanna - Human Female, `Entertainer'

Bard 4

S:9 I:13 W:10 D:13 C:10 Ch:15; HP:12; Thaco:19; AL:N

An attractive, firey redhead, Lanna is a part time singer,
part time mistress to one of the Invader functionaries
here, and part time agent of the Chainbreakers. Problem
is, she's not exactly their best or most reliable agent,
her contact is missing, and the Invaders are starting to
suspect her.

-------------------------

DELTA-TWO

Nyssa - Human Female, Manager

Bard 10

S:9 I:15 W:13 D:14 C:8 Ch:17; HP:31; Thaco:16; AL:NE

Slender, middle ages, with the kind of beauty that comes
from hours of makeup, Nyssa was originally from Golotspace,
where she worked for them as a spy in Venusi. Upon
being exposed, her masters transported her here; she's
been running the chief pleasure center (Three Doors)
on Delta-Two ever since. Nyssa claims to be loyal to the
Invaders, and while she won't actively work against them,
puts her own interests first - always. She has been consort
to a long string of Invader functionaries including the
sphere overlord himself. No few of the Invaders permanently
posted here are controlled by her magic, blackmail,
ect. Occasionally, she will profess to be a rebel agent,
offering escape, ect; but this is always a trap.

--------------------------

Zirena - Human Female, Outcast

Ex Thief 3/Mage 7

S:8 I:17 W:9 D:15 C:8 Ch:14; HP:15; Thaco:18; AL:CG

Vain and slightly mad. Once upon a time, Zirena had Nyssa's
job - until she fell afoul of an Invader official and had
to flee for her life to a almost unihabited islet. Since
then, she has been using her knowledge of the Invaders
to undermine them where she can. As far as the Invaders
(and Nyssa) are concerned, Zirena drowned years ago.

--------------------------

Jeremy - Human Male, Fisherman and Scrounger

Fighter 3

S:16 I:11 W:11 D:11 C:15 Ch:10; HP:18; Thaco:18; AL:NG

Jeremy is one of several score fishermen found paddling
about Delta-Two's all encompassing ocean, catching fish,
crabs, and eels for the dining places of the pleasure
cities. He is a sometime agent of the witch Zirena,
working with her against the Invaders.

---------------------------

EPSILON-TWO

Carl `the Crusher' - Human Male, Rebel Leader

Fighter 9

S:18/91 I:11 W:7 D:11 C:16 Ch:13; HP:99; Thaco:11; AL:CN(N)

Bald headed, beady eyed, heavily muscled, and partly
deranged, Carl `the Crusher' is one of the rebel leaders
at Epsilon-Two. Unfortunately, the only way he knows to
keep order involves pounding people into pulp.

------------------------

Jeris Greycloak - Human Male, Wizard

ex Thief 3/Mage 8

S:9 I:18 W:11 D:14 C:8 Ch:10; HP:21; Thaco:18; AL:N(CN)

A withered stick of a man with a narrow face and stringy
grey hair, his body almost completely engulfed in his all
encompassing grey cloak. Nobody knows just how old Jeris
is, or how long he's been on Epsilon-Two; the rebels
remember him being here from the early days, though he
does refer sometimes to a past existence as a street
urchin in another sphere. Mostly, Jeris roams the red
waste of Epsilon-Two, sometimes sneaking into the ruins
of the old temple to Ptah, sometimes visiting the rebels,
sometimes spending weeks or months camped out at this or
that oasis. Sometimes, he claims to know `great secrets'
about this sphere: the true nature of the Maw, what the
`Dark Things' really are; but he never elaborates.

--------------------------

Damon Tuff - Human Male, Hunter and Scout

Ranger 3

S:14 I:14 W:14 D:13 C:15 Ch:13; HP:19; Thaco:18; AL:CG

Tall, with long blond hair; typically clad in patchwork
leathers. Damon is the chief scout and hunter for the
rebels on Epsilon-Two, constantly scouring the red wastes
for edible creatures and Invader patrols.
