This chronology is based on Golgotha's year. Gologotha has a year only 90% as long as a `standard' year; hence a 20 year period on Golgotha would be 18 standard years long.

While many calanders have been used in this sphere down through the millenia, nearly all went out of use with the demise of the civilizations using them at the time of the Final War. For the purposes of this chronology, the Vanmarian Calander is used as a base.

This chronology covers only the barest scope of events. This is particularly true of the period prior to the Final War; entire nations go unmentioned.

-8000 - -6000?: Syllix domination of Illerine.

-5000?: Founding of Thousand Shrines on Illerine.

-3700?: First appearance (arrival) of elves on Golgotha.

-3600?: Elves establish themselves on Bext.

-2500?: Founding of Groenpak by tinker gnomes from
        Krynnspace.

-1800: Amar the Conquorer unites several tribes and city
states on the continent of Ahkeer, officially
        founding the Khabullian Empire.

-1750: `Official' founding of Gharrig on Bext.

-1700: Founding of the oriental Chen Empire, half a world
away from Khabull, on Xiang, a northern continent
        adjacent to eastern Fjoul.

-1600 - -1500: The Foundation Wars. During this time, a
        series of Khabullian monarchs systematically
invades neighboring continents, adding them to
        their empire.

-1600: The armies of the Khabullian Empire cross the ocean
and invade the continent of Ausheel.

-1580: Ausheel conquored by the Khabullian Empire, which
promptly sends in large numbers of land hungry
        colonists.

-1570: Khabullian Empire attacks the nation of Vod, located
amid the mountains of southern Illerine. However,
after defeating the principle Vod army at the
Battle of Jas, the Khabullian armies enter Vods
cities only to find them utterly empty. (The Vod
had fled, via a Gate, to another sphere, where they
        became the Vodoni).

-1550: Gharrig controls most of Bext.

-1500: End of the Foundation Wars; Khabull now controls
Ahkeer, Ausheel, parts of Illerine and Bext, and
sections of two mostly unihabited southern
        continents.

-1500: Wu-jen from Chen manage to open gates between
Golgotha and Chian. Various monks and shukenja of
Chen migrate through these gates, founding temples
        and monasteries.

-1470: First contact between the Khabullian Empire and the
        Chen Empire.

-1300: Petty Chen warlords begin to establish themselves on
Fjoul. Some are mere outcasts, others are supported
        by the imperial court.

-1250: First appearance of the Tabaxi on Chian; conjured to
that world as a result of a wu-jens experiments.

-1200 - -1100: The `Yellow Wars' between the Khabullian
Empire and the Chen Empire, fought initially over
control of the plains of Fjoul. The war ends with a
massive Khabullian invasion of Xiang; many of Chens
populace flees through a Gate to the world Chian.
The Khabullian empire conquors Xiang, ruling some
of it directly and placing puppet rulers over much
        of the rest.

-1120: Founding of the oriental nation of Qin on the world
of Chian by oriental refugees from Gologotha.

-1100: Founding of the Grand Temple of Flowers on Chian;
solidly establishing the oriental pantheon of gods
        and spirits there.

-1010: The Qin Empire on Chian breaks up into five separate
fiefdoms following the demise of the ruling family.

-1000 - -700: Golden Age of Khabull. During this period,
Khabull rules about 70% of Golgotha's landmasses
(with the remainder being either deemed not worthy
of Khabullian control, or ruled by small outlaw
states, religious cults, or `Free Cities').

-850: First appearance of the lizardmen of Ausheel. As they
remain in the `worthless' swampy interior of the
        continent, they are largely ignored.

-800: Emperor Zamar of Khabull, more academic than his
predecessors, and curious about the magics that
caused large numbers of Vod and Chan to simply
vanish, orders a major investigation of dimensional
magics. Within a few years, his court is approached
by strange blue skinned giants (Arcane) who
announce that they have devices that will let his
ships soar "to the very stars and beyond" - for the
right price. This marks the beginning of the
        spelljamming era in Lostspace; Khabullian
        spacefarers establish colonies and outposts
throughout this sphere, then go on to explore the
spheres that will become Vergonspace, Vodonispace,
        and Vodoni-ka space.

-760: Through diplomacy and clever intrigue, Khabull expands
its authority to Chian, turning two of the
fragmented parts of the Qin empire into puppet
        states.

-710: The Khabullian empire attempts to expand its holdings
on the world of Chian only to be repulsed by an
alliance of local warlords who re-establish the Qin
        Empire.

-700: Massive convict worked ioun stone mines established on
Ious; some under the control of Khabull, some by
        Qin.

-690: Demise of the less than popular Khabullian Emperor
Sadi-el-Hamid, his family, and chief heir, in a
        spelljammer accident.

-690 - -610: The Dynasty Wars. Various Khabullian noble
families vy with one another to place a new emperor
on the throne. Qin takes advantage of this period
of Khabullian weakness to support independance
movements elsewhere in the Khabullian empire.

-680: Several minor city states on Xiang, backed by Chian,
        throw off Khabullian control.

-670: Qin siezes control of most of the ioun stone mines on
        Ious.

-650: A massive wave of lizardmen warriors erupts from
Ausheel's swamps, decimating much of the continent.

-630: Tirrext comes under the control of the Cult of the
Three and secedes from the Khabullian Empire.

-612: An army loyal to Yosef el Muktar family manages to
rout two others armies in the battle of Dabu Pass.
Yosef el Muktar becomes the new Khabullian Emperor.

-610 - -480: Age of Iron and Blood. The Muktar dynasty
attempts to put back the old Khabullian empire back
together in a program of conquest and terror. To an
extent, they succeed, but at great cost.

-600: Khabullian fleet drives Qin off Ious. The Ioun stone
mines there, abandoned for most of a century, are
        reopened with slave labor.

-594: Formation of the Free League, a collection of city
states and petty fiefs on Fjoul, Bext, and
        Illerine.

-590: A massive military campaign reaserts Khabullian
control over much of Bext and Illerine, only to be
halted by the Free League just outside the city of
Gharrig on Bext. Many of the people in the retaken
area's are enslaved as `rebels' and sent to the
        mines of Ious.

-587: Khabull looses three major battles in a row trying to
evict the lizardmen from Ausheel, despite diverting
large numbers of troops from other areas. Khabull
is left with control of only a few isolated port
        cities on Ausheel.

-577: Omar el Muktar becomes the second Khabullian Emperor
of the new dynasty. He turns the Khabullian empire
        into a police state.

-530 - -522: Time of Eight Emperors. The Khabullian empire
nearly breaks up following the death of Omar el
Muktar; no less than fifteen relatives and generals
make bids for the imperial throne; five succeed,
though most have reigns of only a few months before
        being deposed or assassinated.

-522: Usef el Muktar, backed by restless factions among the
populace at large, defeats four rivals to become
        emperor.

-520: Concerned at the unrest in his domain, Usef el Muktar
begins rounding up large numbers of `malcontents'.
Many are executed and others are enslaved; but some
are packed into transports and taken to the Vergon
sphere where they are simply dumped off and left to
        fend for themselves.

-510: Treaty of Scale and Skin. Weary of futile fighting and
faced with emptying coffers, Emperor Usef el Muktar
cedes most of Ausheel to the lizardmen.

-500: End to the forced migrations to Vergonspace, though
the Khabullian fleet continues to visit the
colonies established there now and again.

-488: Death of Usef el Muktar. His son, the less than iron
willed Jamal, ascends the imperial throne.

-480: Declaration of Obligations. Jamal el Muktar is
confronted with a massive delegation of guild
leaders, merchants, and members of the nobility who
force him to delegate away much of his authority,
turning the Khabullian Empire into more of an
        alliance or republic.

-466: Death of Jamal el Muktar. After much intrigue, Kareem
el Siad becomes the new Khabullian Emperor - by now
little more than a figurehead position.

-440 - -300: Second Khabullian Golden Age. Freed of
cumbersome central control, Khabull thrives. During
this period, Khabull rules an empire that includes
not just most of Lostspace, but has colonies and
fiefdoms in Vodonispace and Vergonspace as well.
There is trade and travel with even remoter regions
as well; the cult of Ptah regards `Khabullspace' as
the most distant of the civilized spheres at this
time; and the elven imperial fleet maintains small
        outposts and embassies here.

Khabulls only real opposition from within the
sphere is the Qin, which has full control over the
world of Chian, and denies access to all outsiders.
Khabull and Qin engage in the occasional petty feud
over this or that mine on Ious or the odd
unimportant fief on Golgotha; but for the most part
        simply ignore each other.

-240 - -50: Rise of the Merchant Kings. Many imperial
provinces and cities become what amounts to
        independant kingdoms and citystates; imperial
authority in these new fiefdoms is a mere shadow of
        what it once was.

-180 - -150: The Shadow War (The Trade War): The various
petty rulers of the new fiefdoms engage in a
fierce, yet quiet struggle with one another. This
is less a war of clashing armies than of
assassinations, tarifs, smuggling, and small scale
`police actions'; frequently even discerning the
true identity of the combatants involved is nearly
impossible. There is widespread belief in sinister
cabals headed by evil sorcerers or agents of Qin.
Overall, living standards decline dramatically as a
        result of this conflict.

-160: General Imal el Rahib deposes the last of the Siad
Emperors. From this point on, the Khabullian
Emperors are all military men, chosen from a pool
of senior officers by the nobility and the
        priesthood.

-150: Declaration of Rights. Emperor Imal el Rahib restores
imperial authority in some of the breakaway
fiefdoms, effectively ending the Trade Wars, and
is hailed as a hero by many of the common folk
        as a result.

-140: The Xiang Scandal. Khabull and Qin come nearly to the
brink of open war with one another as the result of
        a complex intrigue - a `leftover' bit of business
from the Trade Wars. A intense `cold war' between
the Khabullian and Qin empires ensues.

-120: Death of Khabullian Emperor Imal el Rahib. He is
        replaced by Yosef el Zoran.

-100: Vision of Vanmar. The wizard Vanmar forsee's the Final
War and attempts to find a way to forstall the
        calamaty. He is largely ignored.

-85: Vanmar creates a warded and hidden sanctuary, and
places 1000 young couple within, in a state of
        stasis.

-80: After another complex intrigue between Khabull and Qin
nearly erupts into open war, Khabullian Emperor
        Saladin-el-Jakar secretly commissions the
construction of Girru, the Engine of Death.

-62: A group of twelve powerfull wizards from both Chian and
Gologotha, forseeing the Final War, secretly
transform a asteriod (Rainbow) into an impenatrable
refuge. For uncertain reasons, they transfer only a
        handfull of people to Rainbow.

-60: Vision of Roassa. The high priest of the lizardmen,
a powerfull mystic, has a vision of the Final War.
He promptly begins organizing a lizardman exodus
        from the sphere.

-50: The lizardmen, under the direction of Roassa, begin a
massive `spacejacking' campaign, building up a
        massive fleet of spelljammers.

-49: Ascent of Kartos-el-Omar to the throne of the
        Khabullian Empire.

-35: The Great Warning. The priests of Thousand Shrines warn
of a period of impending destruction if the nations
of Golgotha do not mend their ways. All access to
Thousand Shrines is cut off a year and a day after
        the Great Warning.

-34: Exodus of the Lizardmen.

-30: Revolt of Daridia. Beginning of the Final War.

-26: The Khabullian spelljamming fleet nearly wiped out by
        Qin.

-25: First reports of the Su-Monsters.

-22: Sealing of Groenpak. The gnomes of Groenpak retreat
into their mountain, methodically sealing all
        entries and exits.

-21: Emperor Kartos, fearing an invasion from Qin, sends
Girru, the engine of death, against Chian, turning
that planet into a heap of spaceborn rubble.

While nearly all sapients on Chian perish, those on
Chuan, Chians moon, survive, under the iron heel of
a military dictatorship. Most of the few sapients
on Chian that survive are at the Grand Temple of
Flowers, which is protected not only by layer upon
layer of wards, but by the gods of Qin as well.

-20: The tirrextian clergy, concluding that the last days
are here, opens a portal to the Abyss (which they
see as fulfilling prophecy. Hordes of tanar'ri
begin ranging across the planet, wreaking havoc.

-20: Seige of Groenpak. Tanar'ri hordes attack, but fail to
capture Groenpak. However, the gnomes suffer
extremely heavy losses, and retreat to the
        mountains lowermost depths.

-19: Vanishing of the Elves. The elves of Bext, threatened
by an unstopable wave of tanar'ri, vanish.

-18: The wizards and priests of the Twin Cities cast layer
upon layer of very powerfull and complex wards
about their city, cutting it off from the
surrounding world. As a result the populace
survives the Final War - at the expense of famine,
        disease, and mutation.

-17: Emperor Kartos orders the spell of undying loyalty cast
on his court. The spell kills him, his nobles, and
the entire population of his capitol.

-16: The remnant of the Khabullian armies manages to destroy
or banish most of the tanar'ri. The senior
Khabullian general, Jamal, is nominated emperor,
only to die less than two years later from wounds
        and exhaustion.

-16: The people of the decadent city of Esama on Illerine
take refuge in the Black Tower, where their high
priestess invokes the spell of Timeless Torpor, as
        a last ditch measure.

-15: Gologotha's moon destroyed. A huge chunk of the moon
falls onto the continent of Ausheel, decimating it
and unleashing a massive poison cloud that sweeps
over much of the planet. 99.999% of Golgotha's
populace perishes. Effective end of the Final War.

‹ˆ-14: A thousand or so tirrextians retreat into heavily
warded temples and holy sites, thus surviving the
        Final War.

-9: Some of the citizens of Esama awaken from the Spell of
Timeless Torpor, and commence rebuilding their
        city.

-7: Lifting of the protective spells surrounding the Twin
Cities. Fewer than 5000 people - out of a
population originally ten times that number -
are still alive, and of those, more than 3000 have
been adversely affected by the magics and plagues.

0: The Awakening. Vanmars stasis spell ends, the thousand
couples emerge, to find themselves almost the sole
sapients left on a devastated Bext.

1: Founding of Vanmar city.

15: Unsealing of Thousand Shrines.

16: Some of the people who had taken refuge in Thousand
        Shrines rebuild Caveron.

30: Founding of Passar in northern Illerine by former
        inhabitants of Thousand Shrines.

35: Su-Monsters begin to enter the Beastlands.

40: The last few human shukenja (priests) at the Grand
Temple of Flowers on Taos die in a plague. Their
tabaxi servants become the temples guardians.

50: Vanmar expands, incorporating the Twin Cities and Shoal.

60: Gibberlings, previously unknown on Golgotha, begin to
        establish themselves in southern Fjoul.

70: Emergence of the Gnomes. The gnomes begin rebuilding
Groenpak, and inspecting whats left of the
        surrounding area.

80: The now undead Khabullian empire attempts an invasion of
the remnants of Chian. They defeat the armies of
the warlords of Chuan, only to be banished by the
shukenja priests, who take advantage of the
situation to make themselves the supreme
        authorities of Chuan.

95: The Shukenja open a Gate between Chuan and Taos.
They attempt to eradicate the `beastmen' (tabaxi)
they find as guardians at the Grand Temple of
Flowers. However, the vast bulk of the tabaxi
simply vanish, apparently passing through a Gate to
        another world (Suynama, in Golotspace).

100: The tanar'ri begin laying plans to extinguish the Sun.

120: The Elven Imperial Fleet makes a survey of the sphere.
After much debate, they decide against establishing
        an outpost here.

100 - 150: The Beastlands virtually taken over by the
Su-Monsters, who hound and harass the regions other
        inhabitants.

120: Rise of the Reformed movement in Tirrextia, arguing for
a relaxation and re-evaluation of the strict
        religious code.

140: The Lycanthropes of the Beastlands form the Totem as a
        means of countering the Su-Monsters.

150: Wizards from Vanmar, Passar, Tirrext, Iordia, Groenpak,
and elsewhere found a loose association that
eventually becomes the planet spanning Wizards
        Guild.

200: Gnomish spelljammers from Groenpak begin visiting other
        spheres.

220: Khabull attempts an invasion of the Chian Cluster,
        which is easily defeated.

230: Spelljamming gnomes from Groenpak establish a mining
        and survey outpost on Rime.

250: For uncertain reasons, a trio of gnomish spelljammers
drops off several hundred halflings on the frozen
        world of Rime.

280?: The Kua toa come to dominate much of the underdark
beneath the Iron Mountains, founding the city of
        Paloondruloop.

294: Beginning of a decade long religious civil war in
Tirrext between the Reformed and the Penace
        Seekers. Half the population dies.

302 - 480: The Darkening. The tanar'ri reduce the Sun's
luminosity by over a third in a span of mere weeks.
Widespread panic ensues; order collapses in most
places. In Tirrext, tanar'ri agents place the blame
for the Darkening on the Reformed for daring to
question the edicts of the gods. A similiar view
(that the gods are angry or have abandoned
Lostspace) prevails in many other places.

404: A final series of massacres results in the near
eradication of the Reformed in Tirrext.

350: The undead Khabullian Empire launches an invasion of
the Chian Cluster, which is promptly routed.

380: The Kua toa begin to establish outposts on the surface.

400?: The mind flayers of Lostspace re-establish contact
with their kin in other spheres.

410: The Wizards Guild concludes that the Darkening of the
Sun is not a natural phenomena, nor is it the
result of divine action or absence. They begin an
        intensive investigation.

420: Tanar'ri agents found the Flagelant Order in Tirrext.

440: The Purging. The Flagelants spread across Tirrext,
using torture, religious bigotry, and sham courts
to dispose of the tanar'ri's enemies.

480: The Brightening. Agents of the Wizards Guild divert a
heavily magicked asteriod into the Sun, wreaking
havoc with the tanar'ri scheme. As a result,
Lostspaces Sun is restored to 90% of its former
brightness. However, the tanar'ri presence is not
utterly destroyed, and the Sun's once constant glow
        is no longer stable.

498: Tanar'ri agents group together various evil priests,
magicians, and others to create the Cauldron as a
means of opposing the Wizards Guild.

500: Refounding of the Reformed in Tirrext. The movement
        rapidly gains in popularity.

510: A dwarven citadel ship lands in the Iron Mountains.
Some of its crew venture to Groenpak; others
        establish small settlements elsewhere.

550: The Black Spot. The Sun luminosity drops by almost 20%
for a period of over a month. When the Black Spot
passes, the Sun is slightly less bright than
        before.

Seeing the Black Spot as an omen, the undead
        Khabullian Empire launches another (failed)
        invasion of the Chian Cluster.

580: The Cauldron very nearly takes over the Twin Cities
        during a complex intrigue.

601 - 620: The tanar'ri controlled priesthood in Tirrext
uses the pretext of the Black Spot to kill or
expell all members of the Reformed in what amounts
to a second religious civil war. Those expelled
travel to Bext, where they found Mirrex, north of
        Vanmar proper.

630: A badly over loaded orcish spelljammer crashes on Bext.
Its crew and passengers found Gharmak, the first
and only orcish city on the planet.

650 - 700: The years of Creeping Shadow. Due to tanar'ri
manipulation, Lostspaces Sun looses a tiny fraction
of its luminosity with each passing decade. At the
end of this period, it is only 70% as bright as it
        was previousely.

As a result, Gologotha slowly begins to enter into
an ice age, spuring many migrations from the polar
latitudes to warmer climes - and battles for the
available lands in those warmer climes.

660: The Jungle War. The Syllix of Illerine undergo an
        `Eruption' - a rapid, murderous increase in
population. They attack the human colonies on that
continent, wiping out several, and forcing many of
the others to flee north, to Bext, where they swell
the ranks of Vanmars citizens. Passar (northern
        Illerine) nearly abandoned.

665: General Erin Whitecrown assumes control of the war
against the erupting Syllix, defeating them in
short order. As a result of this campaign, Vanmar
gains a outpost (Passar) on Illerine.

670: The Grand Crusade. The fanatic rulers of Tirrext,
determined to spread word of the one true faith and
expunge all heretics everywhere, sends an army
after its wayward offshoot in Bext.

674: Erin Whitecrown assumes command of the combined
Vanmar/Mirrex forces, and decisively beats the
invading tirrextians over a three month period.

675: Erin Whitecrown becomes the first king of the Vanmarian
Empire, which includes Mirrex, Vanmar proper,
        Shoal, and Passar.

690: Gharmak annexed by the Vanmarian empire.

698: Death of Erin Whitecrown. The crown passes to his son
        Regis.

700 - 813: The Grand Ritual. The Wizards Guild, alarmed at
the dimming of the Sun, enacts a series of yearly
rituals to keep it from dimming any further. The
rituals (involving pacts with elemental creatures)
do not reverse the Suns dimming, but does prevent
it from growing any worse. The Rituals are overseen
by the Lightbringers, a newly formed subgroup of
        the Wizards Guild.

710: The Dohwar enter the sphere, and establish an erratic
trading relationship with Vanmar. They also
establish a small colony on Rime.

715: The gnomes of Groenpak open the `Pipe' (a long, mostly
natural underground canal) between the eastern and
        western coasts of southern Fjoul.

720: Death of the Sword-Saints. The Shukenja, for complex
political reasons, attempt to eradicate the Kensai
(Sword-Masters). Only a few Kensai survive, in
        secret.

725: A Vanmarian regent is placed over the Illerine city of
Esama (by now, Vanmar rules most of northern
        Illerine).

730: Vanmar attempts to annex the Beastlands, with dismal
results. In response, the inhabitants of the
        Beastlands form the Pact.

738: Vanmar abandons its campaign to claim the Beastlands;
signing of The Forest Treaty between Vanmar and the
        Beastlands.

750: For unclear reasons, the gnomes abandon their outpost
        on Rime.

774: The undead Khabulian empire launches its first invasion
of the Chian Cluster in more than two hundred
years. Caught largely unware, the shukenja are
unable to fully repel the invasion.

780 - 790: War the Colors. Civil War wracks the Chian
Cluster as the Warlords rebel against their
shukenja masters. After much bloody fighting, a
truce is declared, with the Shukenja in control of
some towns and the warlords dominating others.

790: Gnomish spelljamming explorers rediscover Girru. The
gnomes begin using the death machine as a source of
        parts for their inventions.

800: Loomis Whitecrown becomes Emperor of Vanmar.

810 - 820: Time of the Mad Sun. The Lightbringers attempt to
duplicate the events of four centuries earlier -
dropping a massively spelled asteriod into the suns
heart. However, the Lightbringers plans go awray -
the Sun brighten and dims almost daily for a period
        of ten years.

813: Loomis Whitecrown banishes the Lightbringers, who
        retreat into hiding.

815: Shoal and Fell leave the Vanmarian Empire.

817: Assassination of Loomis Whitecrown. He is replaced by
his nephew Paragon, who attempts to undo many of
        his uncles mad acts.

820: The suns glow stabilizes - at barely half its original
        level of luminosity.

820: The last Vanmarian regent is quietly recalled from
        Esama.

822: Death of Paragon Whitecrown. After a series of stormy
meetings among the nobility and and threatened
riots and rebellions by the commoners the emperors
throne is left vacant. The Vanmarian Empire reverts
        to being a mere alliance.

820: Founding of Khartum, the latest (and last?) of the
great underground cities, beneath the Iron
Mountains. Khartum represents the consolodation of
a dozen plus smaller settlements and outposts.

830: Faced with enroaching glaciers, the people of Iordia
send out expeditions to locate a new home,
        eventually settling on seemingly uninhabited
        southern Ahkeer.

850: Members of the Lightbringers, in hiding at Groenpak,
become aware of Girru, and send teams to
        investigate the ancient war machine.

870: The Lightbringers manage to `steal' a star from the
sphere wall as part of a complex effort to reignite
the Sun. However, they are plagued with internal
feuds and attacks by the Cauldron, and are forced
to abandon the star on the frozen world of Rime.

871: The Guild War. Members of the Cauldron stir up trouble
in Groenpak. When the dust settles, most of the
gnomish spellcasters there are dead and the
Lightbringers are banished from that underground
        city.

886: Over a hundred of the vampiric rulers of Ghuman, a city
in the undead Khabullian empire, are put in a state
of suspended animation by Emperor Makal as
        punishment for feuding amongst themselves.

890: The Iordians begin migrating in ernest to Ahkeer,
agreeing to send tribute to the lords of Raydama
and Hamas, acting as regents for Khabull proper.

893: Arrival of the Invaders.

900: The Gibberlings of Fjoul begin moving south to Bext in
        ever increasing numbers.

901: The Invaders establish themselves in Haze, the remnants
        of Golgotha's moon.

905: The Invaders attempt to annex the Chian Cluster
outright, only to be defeated and driven out by
        undead and spirits.

920: Nights of Blood. The vampire lords of Raydama launch an
ill advised campaign against New Iordia, only to be
driven off and have their true undead nature
revealed. New Iordia rebels against Khabullian
        authority.

921: The Invaders annex Fell, and bring in large numbers of
their own citizens who build the city of Castra as
        a secure base of operations.

920: The Invaders establish a outpost on Rime.

925: The Stolen Parliment. Through the use of bribery,
blackmail, and intimidation, the Invaders seize
partial control of the Vanmarian Alliance during a
        meeting of the Alliances rulers.

926?: Founding of the Green Legion, apparently a former
`special forces' unit of the Vanmarian military.

930: New Iordia founds the Bringers of Rest.

949: The Invaders establish bases of operations in Tirrext.

950: The Bringers of Rest strike deep into Raydama, tripping
off a war between the living and unliving there. In
the end, many of the vampire lords there are slain,
but all pretext of a normal, living society is
        ruined.

957: The Invaders become aware of Girru, and begin a long,
slow program to restore it to operational status.

960: With great effort, the Invaders manage to partially
reopen two of the mines of Ious.

957: The Invaders establish a observation post on Jippa Rock
        in the Chian Cluster.

970: The Green Legion all but wipes out the Cauldron.

980: Current year. The Invaders have suffered major defeats
in other spheres, and are scrambling about for
weapons and allies. One of their chief priorities
here is the completion of Girru, to be used as a
`unstoppable' weapon against their foes in other
        spheres.
