Character History
Shar is a Dracon who has been traveling the void alone for several years. He
is young, male, taciturn, and primarily dark green. His small clan's ship,
and all Dracons aboard it, were ripped to pieces in a battle with a Beholder
ship above a planet (I have not decided/don't know where). He was thrown
overboard by the blast from one of the attacks, along with a large enough
piece of deck to trap an air envelope. He was picked up from the wreckage by
a ship from the planet militia, who arrived after the Tyrant ship had left.
He has spent the past years as a hired deckhand/mercenary. He is
disillusioned with the clan way of life of the Dracons, mostly because of the
ease at which his entire clan was destroyed. The only other area in which he
has strong emotions is on the subject of beholders; he harbors a mix of hatred
and fear for them, and would be undecided as to whether to mutilate or flee
them. His last and only encounter with a beholder, he chose the latter, and
has berated himself for it over and over. His hobby is woodworking, and in
his spare time he can be found on deck whittling. Around his neck he wears
the wooden sigil of his extinct clan, the only connection with it that he
keeps.
