| Barge | Cargo barges are used to haul extra supplies and air capacity on long exploration voyages. Two examples of cargo barges used by REX are the "Mule" and "Ox". The Realm Exploration Society have converted 2 barges into a Research Vessel and an Astronomy Observatory. |
| Dragonfly | The "Silver Sand" is a REX supply ship. |
| Dragonship | The "Celestial Dragon" is a Shou Lung junk community ship. |
| Eel Ship | The Eel ship "Mystic Moonlight" is used as a supply and mail ship. |
| Flitter | One of the smallest spelljammer ship capable of using a helm. The "Papillon" and the "Green Destiny" are two examples of flitters used by the Realm Exploration Society. |
| Hammership | The hammership "Realm Quest" is used as a main exploration vessel of the Realm Exploration Society. |

| Junk | Groundling ships used by Shou Lung of Toril. |
| Mosquito | The "Sundowner" is used as a small shuttle by the Realm Exploration Society. |

| Shrikeship | The Shrikeship "Swift" is used as a scout ship and as a support ship for the Realm Exploration ship "Realm Quest". |
| Squidship | The Squidship "Red Wraith" is a long haul supply ship for the REX exploration fleet. They bring both supplies, mail and crew replacements. |
| Turtle Ship | The Turtle Ship "Maelstorm" is a long haul supply ship for the REX Exploration Fleet. |
| Vipership | The Vipership "Shadow Viper" is used as a scout ship. |
| Wasp | The "Blue Agave", a REX library ship, is used to ferry REX scholars and sages to any libraries in wild space or planet.

| Wreckboats | Shuttles are used to transport cargo and personnel to and from REX ships. They are also used as a lifeboat and small tactical fighter. One was converted into a Medivac Shuttle and another was converted into an engineering ship. |
| X-Sail Ship | The S.S. Hyperion has been converted to a fast luxury yatch. |
| Yawl | Ship created and used by tinker gnomes of Krynn. |
| Personal Vehicle Transport | PVT are used in many advanced space nations. |
| Small Ships | Fighters, scouts and personal ship used in many space nations. |
| Spike | Personal transportation vehicle used by REX Away Team in place of horses on surface missions. Sometimes, if in dire need, a reconfigured spike with a create minor helm spell cast on it allows between ships/asteroids jump. If a way to extend air time is available, a spike can be used as a crude spelljamming craft. Many versions of spikes are now appearing in areas frequented by REX fleets. Spikes made of metal, ceramic, crystal and/or wood are appearing in the shipyards. They are personalized by each owners by there color, markings and materials. It would never replace a horse, but spikes have many supporters and followers. |
| Boat | The dinghy, dories and long boats used by REX and other space faring groups. The boats are the most abundant crafts in a spelljamming port. The "Realm Quest" carries 2 6-man long boats named "Jenny" and "Sue". The "Swift" carries the "Rebecca" and "Lisa". The "Valiant" carries the 2-man dinghy "Serenade" and the "Victory" carries the dinghy "Serendipity". |
